We have a cozy house in a beautiful free location, large garden. Wifi, Audio set and television with DVD. You have a wide choice of programs via cable. All luxury available.

Complete kitchen equipment with oven, microwave, blender, sandwich maker, mixer etc.
Lying in a beautiful water sports area and yet very quiet. Good starting point for bike tours (the 8 of Grou).
Swing for the children hangs from the balcony, with grass underneath.
Very private garden with two terraces so always sun or shade, depending on what you want.

On site a children's playground with children's pool, mini-golf, pizzeria and restaurant with lounge and separate terrace. Laundry with dryers.
Boats and bicycles available for rent on site. You can rent all linen on site. Sheet sets are mandatory.
Grou is located on the other side of the water, easily accessible by bicycle, car and boat.
The balcony overlooks the Princess Margriet Canal and the Burd, an island where you can walk and cycle.
Ample parking for 2 cars, right at the front door.

The house is well suited for asthma sufferers, therefore smoking and pets are unfortunately not allowed.
All bedding has recently been replaced.

A small weber barbeque is in the barn.

15 years ago I bought this house in Friesland. I have my own business and this house is an investment for my retirement, plus a wonderful address to come to every now and then. We come here a few times a year and enjoy it to the fullest. A trip in the boat or cozy to Groningen. We also often go to a number of tea gardens.

Cozy stop in Grou is the tea house. There you sit by the water. Open every day. There are also many eateries in the village.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

In the unlikely event that you have to cancel your booking, we will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the renter. If there is force majeure on your side, please contact us on 06-(*CONTENT HIDDEN*), and we will see if a customized solution is possible, such as shifting the period.

In case of cancellation up to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge

In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 70% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Additional information

The garden surrounds the house, with terraces on the south side and to the west. Surrounding vegetation is a put down, so you sit day off. The garden is maintained by professionals, you just have to enjoy. A barbecue lets you enjoy the extra weer.Een garden table with 6 adjustable chairs are available. When the sun too fanatically, you patio screen printouts.

The house is well insulated, 10 years old and in perfect condition. Clean and smoking, very suitable for asthma patients.

The house is smoke free and easy to clean. Downstairs is the laminate flooring and tiles. The sofa is upholstered in leather. Above the floor is covered with thin smooth carpet. The beds have foam mattresses and are covered with a thick mattress cover, plastic terry. -The two-piece-quilts are also made of plastic. In addition, proper cleaning materials available, including a solid Nilfisk vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter. The cottage is cleaned in between the rent.

The park Yn 'e Lyte (Fries in the lee) is quiet, no through traffic. At the back of the park you can use the ferry to the nature of the Burd, great for cycling. via a ferry route you're a wonderful day onderweg.Het park has many facilities that our guests disposal: - Bouncy-animal park-pool for children, bicycle and boat hire, both sail and motor boats Bowling Two restaurants in different price- Belote, bingo, etc.-Shop-Laundry-Swimming in the Pikmeer-Brochures about the entire environment-A berth for you if you bring your own boat.

Sneek and Leeuwarden by car in fifteen minutes to reach, Joure 5 minutes longer.
AA fun outing Groningen on 45 minutes. We do this every holiday, so cozy!
