Welcome to Huisje De Geluksvogel, located in the beautiful Drents-Friese would National Park. This 8-person holiday home is located in the town of Zorgvlied in the middle of nature.

The spacious house has on the ground floor a cozy living room complete with a wood stove, a spacious full kitchen, a toilet, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. In addition, the ground floor is equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms, hallway with desk and an additional bathroom with shower and toilet.

The beautiful garden around the cottage has an ecological swimming pond, a sun terrace with lounge sofa, a dining terrace with a cozy picnic table and a terrace with fire pit. These outdoor spaces provide the perfect setting for birdwatching, squirrels, and other wildlife.

The house is located in a very small-scale park, without a barrier and without park facilities (such as a playground). The inhabitants are nature lovers, who enjoy the peace and quiet with the song of birds and the visiting squirrels.

From the garden you walk directly into the vast forests and heaths of the Drents-Friese would National Park. Cycling enthusiasts can use the beautiful cycling routes with the well-known ANWB cycling junctions, while mountain bikers can enjoy special MTB routes that criss-cross the area.

Huisje de Geluksvogel is a beautiful accommodation for nature lovers. It invites families and groups of friends to relax and enjoy the surroundings with all that Drents-Friese would National Park has to offer.

On September 29, 2023, we became the owner of Huisje De Geluksvogel at the Beek en Brink recreation park in Zorgvlied. A small-scale park without facilities or barriers, in the middle of the Drents-Friese would: ideal for walking and cycling across heathland and forest. Since February 2024 we have been renting out this 8-person house. Inside and outside in the garden there is plenty of space to enjoy peace and nature with family or friends.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cancellation condition:

100% up to 2 months before arrival date.
50% within 2 months before arrival day.

If, for whatever reason, the tenant cannot, does not want to or will not accept the leased property on the agreed date, he must immediately notify the landlord. A telephone notification of this must always be confirmed to the landlord in writing or by email.If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 2 weeks before the start date of the rental period, it will not owe any of the rental price; in case of cancellation up to 2 months of arrival 50% of the rental price due. If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.
