The holiday home is located in the yard of a thatched farmhouse built in 1852. The grounds are designed in such a way that the guest has sufficient privacy. But if you would like to have a conversation with the host and hostess and you want to take a look at our special old Drenthe farmhouse, that is certainly possible! A pleasant and welcoming stay is our top priority. Your hostess will be happy to tell you where you can find the most beautiful places and tastiest restaurants.
The holiday home is beautifully and quietly located between the two most beautiful National Parks of Drenthe, the Dwingelderveld and the Drents-Friese would and is therefore a perfect base for beautiful cycling or walking tours and a visit to the surrounding villages with many authentic Drenthe farms where you can feel and experience the time of yesteryear. The hamlet of Eemster is 4 km away from Dwingeloo, with the most beautiful green in Drenthe! On the green you will find monumental farms, cozy terraces and restaurants, cozy shops and the Albert Heijn. There is a bicycle junction 500 meters away from the holiday home.
