The property is located 400 meters from the village of Porano and 6 km from the well-known city of Orvieto. It is located in a very quiet area (it is the last house in the street) and from the garden you have a nice view of Porano and the surrounding countryside.
The house is available for holiday rental from 2026. The entire property is exclusively for your use and is not shared with other people.
The house has a large garden with olive grove and a small vineyard. The swimming pool of 12 by 6 meters (+ 2 meters stairs) is located in front of the house and is equipped with a trampoline (depth varies from 1 to 2.5 meters). Next to the pool is a gazebo with table and chairs, ideal for poolside dining. On the east side of the house there are covered parking spaces for 2-3 cars, a pizza oven/barbecue and a gas stove.
The house can accommodate 6 people (3 double bedrooms). A baby cot and high chair are available. On the ground floor is a porch with access to the dining and living room. The dining room has a table and chairs for 8 people and the living room has a 3-seater sofa and a flat-screen TV. Next to the living room is a bathroom with shower and toilet. From the dining room you have access to the kitchen. It is equipped with a fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.
The 3 bedrooms are all located on the upper floor. They all have a double bed, fan, mosquito nets on the windows and a private terrace with panoramic views. There is one bathroom with bath and toilet.
The nearest shops (2 supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy) are in the village of Porano 1.4-1.6 km from the property. There is a large supermarket near the motorway exit at Orvieto, which is open every day (including Sundays) until 20:00.
Nearest restaurants: Il Boccone del Prete (a very characteristic restaurant in a cave) 400 meters from the house, restaurant-pizzeria da Claudio at 1.6 km. Other restaurants we recommend: Il Conte or Antica Trattoria - Dal Bisteccaro 7 km away, Fuorimano 8 km, Il Corsica and La Palomba in the historic center of Orvieto. Nearest golf courses: Acquapendente Golf Club 15 km away, Golf Club Nazionale Resort 70 km away.
The accommodation is located halfway between the famous city of Orvieto and Lake Bolsena with its charming villages. In addition to the lake and Orvieto, there are many beautiful villages in the area that are worth visiting (Civita di Bagnoregio, Todi, Montepulciano, Tuscania,...) and the location is excellent to visit Umbria, southern Tuscany, Rome and northern Lazio. Siena and Rome are both 1.5 hours away and the sandy beaches of Tarquinia are 1 hour away (the famous Argentario is 1.2 hours away). Highway and train station a 10-minute drive away. It is located about 10 km from the well-known city of Orvieto and 10 km from Lake Bolsena. Orvieto Scalo Train Station is 12 km away. If you want to visit Rome and Florence, you can get there in about 1.5 hours.
