Casa Lilu is located in a green residential area, near the woods (400m) where you can walk, MTB and picnic. The house is tastefully decorated and can accommodate 6 people: three bedrooms (2 with terrace), two bathrooms, lounge and dining room, a comfortable kitchen with a dishwasher, bread maker, oven and gas stove with 5 burners.

In addition, there is also a washing machine, BBQ, TV (TV Flanders), WIFI, private parking.
Outside you can enjoy a cozy portico with a view of the private pool.
There are sunbeds by the pool for sunbathing, but there are also plenty of places in the shade.
The swimming pool is closed from 1/10 to 15/5.

The nearest airports are Perugia (40 min), Ancona (1h15), Rome (2h30) and Bologna (2h20).

We are Carole and Patrick, two fervent Italy enthusiasts and since a few years the proud owners of "Casa Lilu". We are in love with the region because of the breathtaking beauty of nature, the delicious Italian cuisine and the unparalleled hospitality of the pietralunghesi.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

At the signing, a booking amount of 250 euros will be paid as a deposit and this will be refunded after the holiday, less the cleaning costs for the house and swimming pool (100 euros).
When booking more than 1 week, the cleaning costs only have to be paid once (final cleaning). The house and pool are then cleaned weekly at the owner's expense.

Pietralunga is a cozy medieval village, located 1 km away from the holiday home. In the center you will find a few supermarkets, artisan bakeries, a pharmacy, an outpatient clinic, fantastic cheap restaurants and cafes, a fitness, ..... There is a cozy atmosphere throughout the year with a few toppers such as the Palio della Mannaja (2nd week of August), ill Mercato del Tartufo and festa della Patata Bianca (October). Pietralunga is a stone's throw from the beautiful medieval towns such as Gubbio (20 min), Città di Castello (20 min), Umbertide (20 min), Montone (15 min), Perugia (40 min), Assisi (50 min). Furthermore, you are in an hour on the Adriatic coast, Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo (Tuscany); Florence (2:15); Siena (2:15); Rome (2.30 am).

Beautiful cycling and walking routes.
In casa Lilu there is a brochure with recommended walking and cycling routes with or without guidance.
For walkers: guided hikes + tasting with an experienced guide: 2, 5 or 8 km).
For cyclists and mountain bikers: forests 300 m away. It is possible to reserve a mountain bike.
The Monte Nerone, Monte Catria and Monte Petrano (about 1500 m altitude) with an average gradient of 9% over a distance of about 10 km are a delight for the experienced climber.

Umbria is the truffle region par excellence. In the village there are 2 large companies that are engaged in the processing of the truffles.
On request you can take a guided truffle tour, taste truffles and visit the company.

Cookshop making fresh pasta in the traditional way.

The demonstration will take place in the farm's production laboratory. The guests are not just spectators, but real "participants"; they are welcomed into the workshop by Silvana (who speaks English) and Mariella (who speaks the international language of signs). By wearing the apron (the typical apron), they are introduced to the different types of grain used locally for the production of pasta: wheat, spelt, barley and oats.
At the end of the workshop, guests will be offered a drink and will receive a certificate + a book with local traditional recipes.
Afterwards there will be a dinner with typical local dishes (including the freshly made pasta!)
