The property has been completely renovated between 2023 and 2025 and can be rented for holidays from 2026. In addition to the renovation of the main house, an outdoor swimming pool of 12 by 5 meters has been created, an additional bedroom with bathroom and a small indoor pool/jacuzzi of 3 by 1.5 meters, which have been created in the caves next to the house. The renovation has been carried out with great care, using materials typical of the region. The whole garden is fenced and there is parking for 2/3 cars.
There are a total of 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, sleeping 7. All rooms are air-conditioned. Outside the house is a large gazebo with an outdoor kitchen (gas barbecue, 5-burner hob, sink, dishwasher), table and chairs for 7 people.
On the ground floor there is a living/dining room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. On the first floor there is a second bedroom with a double bed, a single sofa bed and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom with en-suite bathroom was created by using one of the caves near the house (no interior connection to the house). A baby cot and high chair are also available.
The property is located halfway between the famous city of Orvieto and Lake Bolsena with its charming villages. In addition to the lake and Orvieto, there are many beautiful villages in the area that are worth visiting (Civita di Bagnoregio, Todi, Montepulciano, Tuscania, etc.) and the location is excellent to visit Umbria, southern Tuscany, Rome and northern Lazio. Siena and Rome are both 1.5 hours away and the sandy beaches of Tarquinia are 1 hour away (the famous Argentario is 1.2 hours away). The motorway and train station are a 10-minute drive away. The property is located about 10 km from the well-known city of Orvieto and 10 km from Lake Bolsena. Orvieto Scalo Train Station is 12 km away. If you want to visit Rome and Florence, it will take you about an hour and a half.
The nearest shops (supermarket and others) are in the village of Torre San Severo (2 km from the property). More shops and supermarkets can be found in Porano and Bolsena (both 10 km away). There is a large supermarket near the motorway exit at Orvieto, which is open every day (including Sundays) until 20:00. Nearest restaurants: Il bosco del pesce 1 km away, Il conte 2.5 km, Fuorimano 3.5 km. Other restaurants we recommend: Il boccone del prete (near Porano, a very characteristic restaurant in a cave), Il corsica and La Palomba in the historic center of Orvieto. Nearest golf courses: Acquapendente Golf Club 15 km away, Golf Club Nazionale Resort 70 km away.
