On the grounds of Podere di Maggio, an area of more than 30 hectares between chestnut forests, streams and olive groves, we rent an apartment with a lot of privacy, surrounded by nature, a beautiful garden all around and with a beautiful view over the valley.
The apartment has been lovingly renovated and can accommodate 2-5 people. The house is completely self-sufficient with bedroom, bathroom and spacious kitchen.
Outside, in front of the kitchen there is a spacious terrace, partly in the sun and partly in the shade with a dining table, barbecue and hammock.
The apartment offers maximum privacy and above all silence. Around the house there is limitless space and lots of nature.
In the immediate vicinity there is, in addition to a modest swimming pool with fantastic views, a wonderful swimming opportunity in the river, the water of which is spotless.
You can eat, in addition to your own house, in one of the small restaurants in the immediate area, where delicious regional dishes are served for a low price.
In addition to the beautiful Monte Amiata, an old extinct volcano, there is much to see in the immediate area. Fantastic medieval towns such as Sorano, Pitigliano, Arcidosso, Etruscan excavations and many nature parks.
A little further away, about an hour's drive away, we find Siena, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi and the beautiful Tyrrhenian coast with beautiful beaches.
