We rent out our farmhouse with 5 bedrooms and large private swimming pool (over 10x5m) on 15000m2 of private land to lovers of nature and culture.

Cerro di Sopra is located on a mountain plateau in the Apennines, a quiet and beautiful place, but central between many special cities and villages. It is an authentic 19th century farmhouse that has been completely renovated in style and fully equipped, such as a washing machine, bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower, a dishwasher, combi microwave, flat screen (40 inch) with Dutch channels, Blue ray player, CD player and dolce gusto coffee machine. In addition, there is internet with WiFi in the house and by the pool. The two master bedrooms have comfortable Auping double beds. In addition, there are two bedrooms with two single beds each and a bedroom with a double bed that are located in the former indoor drying tower and are interconnected by a spiral staircase.

The house has a traditional spacious kitchen with fireplace and two dining tables. There is a spacious sitting room with a lovely sitting area. From the sitting room you open onto a spacious balcony terrace overlooking the valley.
The house is accessible via a private unpaved road. This road can be difficult to pass in some places, especially for low cars. We have 15000m2 of private land around our house and you really have absolute privacy here. The private property is bordered by a wooded mountain slope behind the house where one can also walk (climb). There is a beautiful private swimming pool at the house with a sunbathing lawn and a covered terrace. The authentic bread oven can be used as an outdoor BBQ (see photo). However, there is also a Weber gas BBQ!

At 5 km is a small grocery store annex bar. At 12 km drive is the village of Trestina where all daily needs are for sale. You will find a butcher, greengrocers, a delicatessen, bakeries, ice cream shops, bars and two supermarkets. Within a radius of 12 km there are several excellent and very affordable regional restaurants. The house is a perfect base to visit a large number of beautiful cities and towns within an hour such as Cortona, Arezzo, Perugia, Città di Castello, Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Assisi, Montone and Gubbio. In 1 to 2 hours you can also go to Siena, Montepulciano, San Gimignano and Florence.

You usually fly very affordably with Ryanair or KLM to the airports of Pisa, Bologna, Florence and Ancona and Transavia takes you from Rotterdam to the airport of Perugia which is only 45 minutes from our house.
