Morgiano consists of two old stone houses dating back to the Florentine Republic (13th century). The estate is secluded at the end of a natural road in complete privacy. The houses are surrounded by 5 hectares of gardens, woods, olive groves and fruit trees. Guests have access to our vegetable garden, swimming pool and a large library room. Sustainability is important to us so we have solar panels, a central wood heating system and we grow organic vegetables.
This apartment was originally a watchtower, it has a private loggia with a beautiful view of Chianti, and it has a fully equipped kitchen.
The house is located in the Prato Magno Nature Reserve, whose highest peak (1600m) can be reached on foot during a day trip. Its location is strategic for visiting the cities of Florence, Arezzo, Siena and Chianti. The Vallombrosa Nature Reserve, with the tallest tree in Italy, is easily accessible by car. The surrounding villages of Castelfranco, San Giovanni, and Terranuova are famous examples of 13th-century architecture.
