Quiet holiday apartment in a historic stone house (XIII century) at 700m altitude near Florence. We rent out a total of three apartments in two buildings.
The property has a large garden, swimming pool, olive trees and we grow organic vegetables. The two buildings are located in the middle of nature and offer silence and relaxation. Thanks to the altitude, the temperature is about five degrees lower than in the Arno valley.

The house is located in the Prato Magno Nature Reserve, whose highest peak (1600m) can be reached on foot during a day trip. Its location is strategic for visiting the cities of Florence, Arezzo, Siena and the Chianti area. The Vallombrosa Nature Reserve, with the tallest tree in Italy, is easily accessible by car. The surrounding villages of Castelfranco, San Giovanni and Terranuova are famous examples of 13th-century architecture.

At Morgiano we have decided to live in a (more) sustainable and ethical way. We use the sun and firewood for heating, we grow our own vegetables without chemicals. All our organic products and 5 hectares of land garden products are available to the guests.
