The property is located in a beautiful part of Tuscany, surrounded by hills of olive trees and green, dense pine trees; near the most important art city of Italy (Florence, Voters, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca) and the coast of Versilia. Its location and altitude of approximately 300 meters above sea level guarantee a mild and pleasant climate in every season. It is located in a panoramic position, about 1.5 km from the village of Buti. It is a quiet location that offers a lot of privacy to guests. From the large terrace (equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining) and the swimming pool you can enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding hills. The swimming pool (for private use) is 14 meters long and 5.5 meters in size, the depth is 1.5 meters. The house has been restored with particular attention to the original materials (terracotta, wood, stone…) and furnished with furniture from the Tuscan tradition.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen, living/dining room, a double bedroom and a toilet.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has a total of 9 sleeping places, it is also possible to place a cot. Wi-Fi internet connection available on request. In the town of Buti there are all necessary shops and various restaurants/pizzerias/bars. Recommended restaurants/pizzerias: Al vecchio molino, Le mangiatoie da Tormento, Trattoria Pacci, La Grotta, I maggi. Please note that the road from Buti (1.5 km in total) has 500 meters of steep road with 3 hairpin bends and 900 meters of dirt road. We therefore do not recommend that you come with sports cars or caravans.
It is an ideal starting point to visit the most beautiful towns in Tuscany, for a day at the beach (30 km from the villa) or in the mountains (the mountain of Abetone 1400-1900 meters high is 80 km away, in winter it is also possible to ski there). Nearest golf clubs: Cosmopolitan golf (18 holes located near Pisa), Tirrenia Golf Club (9 holes located near Pisa), Fontevivo golf club (9 holes located near Pisa), Golf Club Castelfalfi (18 holes, located near Florence), Poggio de 'Medici golf (18 holes, located near Florence), Le Pavoniere golf (18 holes, located near Prato).
Access road:
Please note that the road from Buti to the house (1.5 km in total) has 500 meters of steep road with 3 hairpin bends and 900 meters of unpaved road. We therefore do not recommend that you come with sports cars or caravans. Except for Ferrari and other similar sports cars, no problem driving with other cars. The road is one lane for 700 meters and narrower for the last 200 meters. If you cross another car, one of them must move back to the first available space. The road is used by the owners/guests of 5 houses, so it is a road with little traffic. The driver must have a minimum familiarity with the car's maneuvers.
Dogs:
Dogs are welcome, the tenant must check that the furniture is not damaged, remove the droppings and prevent them from digging holes or getting into the pool. The garden is completely fenced (fence suitable for medium and larger dogs). Additional charge: 25 euros per dog. If you wish to bring more than 2 dogs, please request this before booking.
