Villa Charlene | A relaxing stay on the coast of Siracusa
Located in the quiet countryside of Siracusa, in the area of Punta Milocca, Villa Charlene offers a fine combination of Sicilian charm and modern comfort. The house has been renovated with care, preserving authentic elements and combining them with a light, warm interior.
The space
Villa Charlene is surrounded by a green garden and features a spacious veranda where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, a long lunch or a leisurely evening meal. The house is suitable for families, couples or friends who want to discover Sicily from a quiet base.
Inside on the ground floor you will find a cozy living room with open kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms:
- An attractive master bedroom with a relaxed boho look.
- A bright bedroom with two single beds and a view of the garden. These beds can be joined together to form a double bed.
On the first floor you will find another bathroom, a spacious balcony and another two bedrooms:
- A relaxing bedroom with balcony and double bed
- A serene bedroom with a comfortable double sofa bed. An extra single bed can also be placed in this room.
Beach and nature
The nearest beach, Lido Fanusa, is about 700 m away. Along the coast, a footpath leads to Arenella (2 km), ideal for a walk with a view of the sea. The Plemmirio nature reserve (5 km) is also nearby, known for its clear water and beautiful bays. For longer beach days, the beaches of Fontane Bianche (10 km) are a popular destination.
Discover the area
Just 9 km away is Ortigia, the historic center of Siracusa. Here you will find atmospheric streets, cozy restaurants, local markets and impressive historical sights.
Avola, 15 km away, is known for its beaches, promenade and the famous Nero d'Avola wine. From Avola, you can also easily reach the nature of the Cava Grande del Cassibile, where you can hike and swim in natural pools.
Noto, located about 25 km away, is oneof the most beautiful baroque cities in Sicily and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The elegant architecture, squares and cozy terraces make a visit more than worthwhile.
For a day trip, Catania and the impressive volcano Etna are also easily accessible.
