In 2022 we bought a hull in Sampieri, in the south of Sicily, on a spacious 1.2 hectare site 800 meters from the sea with a great view over the coastline. A lot of work has now been done, and a beautiful, spacious villa, a guest house and a swimming pool have been built on the property. We fully enjoy this beautiful place and would like others to enjoy it too.
The spacious villa contains three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large living room and a large, fully fitted kitchen. All rooms have air conditioning, well-functioning Wi-Fi and independent workplaces. There are two large screens with which we also work remotely. Good coverage by Wi-Fi (FWA, with connection from nearby cell tower) was an important criterion for us when looking for a house.
Both the walls and the roof of the villa are well insulated, so that it stays cool in summer and feels comfortably warm in winter by Sicilian standards. In addition, there is electric underfloor heating. By using the 20 solar panels wisely, power consumption is limited.
On the spacious veranda you look out over the pool and the sea. The beautiful infinity pool with sun terrace is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with an old olive tree, lemon trees, agaves and the characteristic Sicilian chamerops palm trees. New this summer are the cooling outdoor shower and a beautiful barbecue area where you can use the pizza oven on wood and the grill under the old olive tree.
The 90 square meter guest house is located 40 meters from the villa, and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room with sofa bed and a well-equipped kitchen in the living area. The guest house also has air conditioning and well-functioning WIFI. The newly constructed terrace in front of the guest house is completely free with a beautiful view of the sea. From the guest house there is also access to the swimming pool.
The price shown is for the rental of the villa, but soon we will also offer the guest house for rent and the villa and the guest house can be rented separately or together. In case of separate rental, the use of the pool can be shared with other guests.
