Casa Sirena is our holiday home in Sicily near the medieval town of Cefalu.
The house stands on a mountain slope and has a great panoramic view of the surroundings of Cefalu, the coast and the Mediterranean Sea. The house and location are highly valued by our guests.
The house has a lovely semi outdoor kitchen directly adjacent to the spacious terrace in front of the house. In the summer, life in Sicily takes place outside, so also cooking and eating. Furthermore, the house has a spacious living room, a large bedroom and a newly fitted bathroom. In the living room there is a sofa bed for two extra sleeping places. There is also a detached guest house with an extra bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a private terrace.
In front of the house is a large orchard with all kinds of fruit and olive trees. The tranquility in the area is overwhelming. The house is located on the edge of the Parco delle Madonie natural park, a vast and unspoilt mountain area with many opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature or for a trip by car. You will find plenty of sun, sea and extensive sandy beaches in the vicinity of Cefalu. For the children there is a tropical swimming paradise nearby.
By car you can easily reach the green mountains of the Madonie area with its small medieval towns such as Castelbuono, Polizzi Generosa, Petralia Soprana and Sottana, Collesano and Pollina.
Due to its central location, Cefalu is a perfect base from which to visit the sights of the island and to experience Sicily in all its facets.
