Come and enjoy the authentic Sardinian life!
Villa Tana Margianis is located just outside the village of Perdaxius, in the southwest of Sardinia.
The house has a large, spacious kitchen with 5-burner gas stove and electric oven, a dishwasher and a luxury coffee machine.
There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and a bathroom en suite, one with a double bed and a single bed and one with a double bed and a cot.
The bathrooms are equipped with a toilet and bidet, spacious sink and spacious shower with luxury shower column.
On the terrace at the rear of the villa is the swimming pool of 11 x 5 meters. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet with an unobstructed view over the mountains. The sunset and the 'golden hour' are definitely the most beautiful moments of the day.
The villa is centrally located in the southwest and is therefore ideal as a base to discover this region. Such as the beautiful beaches (quiet and touristy), the capital Cagliari, the picturesque town of Iglesias and many archaeological and cultural attractions. With less than a 30-minute drive, you can enjoy the beautiful beaches on the south coast of the island.
The largest beach in the immediate vicinity is Porto Pino. On this beach you will find, among other things, a boat rental, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas and there are several beach bars. Around Porto Pino there are several smaller and quieter beaches.
Highly recommended is Spiaggia dei Franchesi: a small beach of sand and rocks, where you can enjoy a beautiful view over part of the coast and the open sea.
South Sardinia has a lot of beautiful sights.
In the villa you will find several brochures and leaflets of everything there is to see and do in the area.
You can go to:
Castello di Acquafredda | 30 minutes In Siliqua, about a 30-minute drive from the villa, there is a castle on a lonely mountain in the valley. The Castle of Coldwater, as it is called in English, was probably built around 1200. The top of the mountain is 256 meters above sea level. The view on top of the mountain is truly beautiful. Put on your walking shoes, it's quite a trip!
Grotte is Zuddas | 25 minutes
In the caves of Santadi, a beautiful underground route opens up between the dolomite rocks, created by the incessant power of the water, in a masterpiece of nature. The caves open 236 meters below sea level and extend over 1650 meters. The tourist route is about half a kilometre long.
Sant'Antioco | 40 minutes
The island better known as 'Little Sardinia', Isola di Sant Antioco.
Sant'Antioco is a peninsula located on the southwest coast of Sardinia. The peninsula is connected to the 'mainland' by a bridge. Crystal-clear seawater, the most pristine beaches and ruins dating back to pre-Roman times make this peninsula an undiscovered gem in mass tourism.
Area Archeologica di Nora
Nora is a punic-roman town, located on a peninsula in the south of Sardinia, near Pula. Interesting are the remains of mosaic floors and the small theater that is still largely standing. In addition, the remains of Roman bathhouses, temples and residential areas with typical North African architectural style can be seen. A stone with the oldest inscription in Phoenician letters was once found here.
On the road with THE guide of Sulcis, as this region is also called. With this guide you can make beautiful walks in a.o. Bosco di Pantaleo to Tomba dei Giganti, where you really have an amazing view, he can tell you everything about the flora and fauna of this region, but you can also go on a snorkeling or kayaking excursion with this guide. He is a real local, but also speaks English.
Please note: The swimming pool can be used from the last weekend of April to the last weekend of October. For the colder periods, the villa has a pellet stove in the living room/kitchen and a gas stove for the bathroom.
