Ca' San Biagio is a spacious holiday villa in the hills near Monesiglio.
It is a completely renovated former farmhouse in the typical 'Pietra di Langhe' style that is so characteristic of Piedmont.
It has three large terraces, one of which is poolside and jacuzzi (open from May to September) which are in the sun from 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening, because due south. Great for quiet holidays, complete privacy and yet close to the village.
Every Tuesday morning market, butcher, supermarket, panetteria, pharmacy, post office and two cafes on the square. In the village there is also a pizzeria and a fine restaurant. In the surrounding hills there are also many opportunities to eat out, from a simple lunch (casalinga) to dinner with star chefs.
Ca' San Biagio is located in the Langhe, a hilly region of Piedmont with a long tradition and history, and is the centre of the triangle of Turin, Genoa and Milan. The landscape consists of several hills, the house overlooks the river Bormida di Millesimo.Hills and vineyards alternate with castles and historic villages. Monesiglio and surrounding villages offer spectacular views, unique scents and flavors that blend harmoniously and surprise and delight everyone. The diversity and deep richness are reflected in the wines (the famous Barolo, Barbera, Barbaresco, Arneis to name but a few) and the regional cuisine typified by hazelnut and of course the truffle.
Ca' San Biagio is a beautiful, spacious and private villa with private pool and jacuzzi, open from May to September. It is beautifully situated halfway up the hill (Rocca Bianca) and has a magnificent view of the valley, the river and the village of Monesiglio. The large south-facing terraces guarantee a sun-drenched holiday.
The villa has a spacious living room with double sitting area and directly connected to the kitchen. Together with the master bedroom, these cover the2nd floor. This floor is accessible via the stairwell and also via the rustic long wooden balcony in Piedmontese tradition.
The first floor has two double bedrooms, one of which has its own bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Two additional rooms are currently used as an extra sitting room. A large terrace is directly accessible and gives a magnificent view of the surroundings due to its higher position.
Finally, on the ground floor there is a large laundry room (currently used as an extra, fourth bedroom), a third bathroom and a second kitchen. There are also storage and technical rooms on the ground floor. All floors give direct access to the spacious terraces with an outdoor shower, the heated outdoor swimming pool (4 x 10 m.) and a jacuzzi.
