How beautiful Piedmont is – and what a wonderful place Casa Mumu is. The house is surrounded by nature, with hiking and biking trails starting right from the front door and quaint old Italian villages a short distance away. The large private swimming pool is a dream: while you swim you look out over the valley. The house is fully equipped, stays cool in the summer and comfortably warm in the winter. Around the pool and in the grass you can sit or lie down and read a book undisturbed. Inside, there are three bedrooms – two downstairs and one upstairs – and two separate bathrooms, with both floors accessible via the garden.
Casa Mumu is located on a quiet white road where only hikers, e-bikers and the occasional deer pass by. The area is green and hilly, with the Apennines in the distance. In the evening you can hear owls calling and on warm summer nights the fireflies dance through the garden. Around the house is a young olive grove, whose trees are still growing to the day they give liters of their own olive oil.
From the house you can walk and cycle for hours and discover cozy villages along the way. A five-minute drive away is Castelletto d'Erro with a simple local restaurant, and in the other direction is Bistagno with bakers, butchers and greengrocers. A little further on, about fifteen minutes' drive away, is the elegant spa town of Acqui Terme, with excellent restaurants and surrounded by famous wine regions. This region is also known for the white truffle, which is only found in autumn – and who knows, there might be hidden specimens waiting around Casa Mumu, under old oak trees.
In short: peace, nature, delicious food and pure relaxation. Enjoy! 🌿✨
