Casa Edda

Casa Edda is located between the hills of Le Marche, near the town of Penna San Giovanni and offers stunning panoramic views of the Sibillini Mountains.

From Casa Edda is the beautiful nature of Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini easily accessible (30 min.); a large nature reserve for those who want to be active in nature but also suitable for through touring by car. Those who love sun, water and beach rides easily from Casa Edda the kilometer Adriatic coast (45 min.) Or at one of the lakes (30 min.). Nearby are many small towns, often located on hilltops, each with their own atmosphere and attractions. Larger cities as Ascoli Picena, Fermo and Macerata are a bit further away (45-60 min.) But are worth to visit especially if you enjoy the journey towards it.

The house and garden in 2010 in collaboration with an Italian geometra and an English landscape architect rebuilt with original materials and warm colors have been used. The decor in and around Casa Edda is attractive, functional and especially delightful and comfortable.

Casa Edda has a living room with seating and dining continuously in a spacious kitchen. The kitchen is fully furnished and equipped. The room and the kitchen island, the ideal place to prepare delicious meals together. The living room has comfortable furniture, there is a fireplace and flat screen TV with a wide range of (NL) channels. The house has WIFI. The separate utility room has a washing machine and an extra refrigerator.

Casa Edda offers five spacious 2 double bedrooms, two with a double bed, two rooms with two single beds and one room where you can choose whether you want a double or two single beds. Nearly all beds are nice and long (2.20 m). The bedrooms are on the 1st and 2nd floor of the house. Each floor has its own bathroom and the master bedroom has its own bath. The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms, Casa Edda also very suitable for two families, each using its own floor. There is a 3rd bathroom on the ground floor. The number of beds can be extended to 12 by using two trundle beds (1.90 m).

Around the house you will find a beautiful garden with roses, lavender and olive trees, and with various comfortable seating areas. From the kitchen you reach directly the large terrace with a long dining table where guests are invited to have breakfast, lunch or extended to tablets but also a great place to read and operate. Even if it is very hot, it feels good under the pergola. On this terrace you will find an original wood-burning pizza oven.

The terrace off the kitchen leads through into a small, sunny terrace off the living room and on the south side of the house a spacious covered terrace (portico) with pleasant shade in the afternoon. At the large private swimming pool (6x15 meters) is a terrace with sun beds and a pool house with couches and a fireplace where until late at night relax is.

The garden and parking area were fully refurbished in 2015 in front of the house. There is enough space to park several cars.

Casa Edda has an open atmosphere, both inside and outside, there is always a view of the beautiful countryside of le Marche and the tops of the mountains Sibilini. The location of the house offers plenty of privacy while all kinds of amenities are close by.

Overall, Casa Edda is a lovely villa where you will be immediately captivated by the magical appearance and the relaxed atmosphere of the house and the magnificent Le Marche countryside. Comfortably enjoy the real, authentic Italy.

Casa Edda is easy from several airports to reach by car: Ancona (1.5 - 2 hours drive), Pescara (2 - 2.5 hours away), Perugia (2.5-3 hours drive), Rome (3- 4 hours away), Bologna (3-4 hour drive. the budget flights to Ancona, Pescara and Perugia will generally places only in the period April 1 to Oct 1.
