In the hills of the Oltrepo Pavese region, about 65 km south of Milan, lies the picturesque village of Mornico Losana.
The village of Mornico Losana is characterized by typical Italian village life.
Mornico Losana is very easy to reach both by car and by plane (3 airports in the region).
Vineyards, views, simplicity, tranquility and nature make this region unique.

Due to its unique location in the heart of Northern Italy, most sights such as old cities (Milan, Pavia, Genoa), ski resorts and the flowers Rivera on the Mediterranean Sea can be reached in just over an hour via the large autostrada or train.
Our apartment Cut and Shaved has, as the name suggests, a history as a barber shop / barber. The foundations of the house date back to the 17th century when the castle was built which has a very prominent place in our village. Apartment Cut and Shaved is located on the 1st floor at Piazza Liberta, so you can fully enjoy Italian village life. In the morning in the adjacent bar La Forneria enjoying a delicious cappuccino and a brioche, at noon a fantastic Pranzo and finally until about 8 o'clock (the bar closes!) an Aperol or a glass of the many quality wines that are available for are so characteristic of this region.
There is also a grocery store on the village square. At the rear of the apartment Cut & Shaved is a terrace / balcony where you can relax in peace with a beautiful panorama over the vineyards.

Short description of the apartment: This typical Italian apartment has a spacious bedroom with air conditioning, a bathroom with a spacious shower. The kitchen/kitchenette is equipped with fridge/freezer, 2-burner stove, Nepresso machine and kettle. The living room has a pallet stove.
The large public swimming pool is a 2-minute walk from the apartment, the swimming pool is equipped with a sunbathing area, restaurant and sunbeds are rented.
The apartment Cut and Shaved is a top place for peace, space and pure Italy without mass tourism, delicious wines and great gastronomy.

In short, nothing stands in the way of tasting and experiencing the real Italy.

About 10 years ago we settled in Mornico Losana because of the fantastic wines they produce here in the Oltrepo Pavese region and we exported to the Netherlands. We now have 3 homes in Mornico Losana, 2 of which we rent out, Casa Het Sewing Workshop and apartment Cut and Shaved. At the moment we cannot yet choose and commute very regularly between Italy and Gelselaar

Explanation of prices

If, for whatever reason, the tenant is unable, unwilling or will not accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must immediately inform the landlord. A telephone notification of this must always be confirmed in writing or by email to the lessor. If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 30% of the rental price; if canceled up to 4 weeks 40% and from 2 weeks to 5 days before the start date of the rental period 50%.

If the tenant only announces 5 days before the start date or during the rental period that he will not use the rented property (anymore), he will still owe the full rental price.
