Casa Rovear

Peace and quiet in Liguria. Beautiful holiday home Casa Rovear, 16 km from the coast in Bella Liguria, in ancient olfactory orchard and 2 km from the village of Pigna, where you can eat well at a pizzeria or other restaurants in the village. Pigna is a beautiful borgo where time seems to stand still. There is a pasticeria with coffee cakes and delicious sandwiches and ice cream, and there are two small shops 5 minutes drive from us. 
We have a small "estate" with 130 olive trees, a large house, with an apartment in it, and this beautiful holiday home that we rent out. The house can be reached via an unpaved road of 150 meters, not suitable for very large and low cars. But upstairs there is also parking space for the car. (We then drive with luggage and groceries) You walk the road in 5 minutes and it is a nice walk.   We renovated the house 15 years ago and it is fully equipped.  Upstairs is the spacious kitchen with 5 burner stove, large fridge freezer  and dishwasher. Lots of closet and workspace.  Then a living room with corner sofa, television, and a pellet stove that can heat the whole house by means of radiators. The house is very well insulated and therefore heats up quickly. Adjoining a slate terrace with wooden garden furniture and parassol, and a large wooden balcony, also with parassol and garden furniture. A beautiful view of the pre Alps.  Downstairs are the bedrooms (nice and cool) and a very spacious bathroom, with rain shower, 2 sinks, a urinal and a toilet.

The house is fully equipped, and there are still many old features. The beach is 16 km away, the village of Pigna is 2 km away with shops and restaurants. A pizeria and a nice coffee ice cream parlor with delicious cakes.  Dolce acqua is also a beautiful town with beautiful terraces and restaurants (8 km)  Bordighera is a nice beach town with delicious fish restaurants on the boulevard. Many trips, whale watching tours, the fashionable San Remo and Nice.The Hanburry Gardens are also worth a visit. Or the still undiscovered hinterland where time seems to stand still, with beautiful squares. We also cook for our guests and eat in the olive grove. . In the summer there is an above-ground swimming pool 4.30 diameter 1.10 deep.   We would like to share this place with you. There is still real silence and space to be found here.
