Our cozy spacious detached farmhouse with large swimming pool is located in a beautiful , picturesque, authentic Italian, hilly landscape dotted with old farms and small villages. Our holiday house " Pian del Gatto" is located 2.5 km outside the village of Pareto, here you will find the grocery store with fresh bread, meats, vegetables, cheese, pasta, soft drinks, beer and drugstore items, a bar with a terrace, the post office and the farmer's union. Everything small-scale and authentically Italian.
Pareto is located on the border of the regions of Liguria & Piedmont, 25 km from the Mediterranean Sea (the Riviera of Flowers) with beautiful sandy beaches , palms and romantic villages , towns and cities. (Savona, Celle Ligure and Genoa) Cinque Terre, Portofino , Milan and Monaco can be reached by car within 2.5 hours.
Inland to the north at 25 km you will find Acqui Terme with its healing sulfur spring, with the weekly market on Tuesday and Friday morning and the curio market on Sunday morning. Many terraces, restaurants, shops and large supermarkets.
Drive 80 km to the northwest and you will find yourself in the beautiful wine region around the beautiful slow food and truffle town of Alba , with the famous vineyards and winegrowers of the Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo and Barbera.
We are also " Cantina-Piemonte " importer of 15 wineries from this region. Some of these tasty wines are for sale in the house. You can also visit one of our "vintners" directly.
From our large plot of 90,000m2 with forest, meadow and stream you have a beautiful, panoramic view of the surrounding nature. You can enjoy privacy here by the swimming pool (9.5 x 4.5 m) , or take beautiful walks in the vicinity, sporty cycling, mountain biking, etc.
The detached farmhouse is fully furnished and includes 3 bedrooms , each with a double bed and a bunk bed, 2 bathrooms (1 in the house and 1 next to the swimming pool), a spacious living room with internet, WIFI , satellite TV, game console and wood stove, cozy complete kitchen, washing machine, etc
Outside under the roof is a comfortable lounge area with large sofas that offer cooling in the hot afternoon sun, or where you can enjoy the afterglow until the wee hours, cozy by candlelight .
There are sun beds around the large swimming pool and there are several garden sets with parasols. There is also a large barbecue , a ping-pong area and a hammock .
If you rent the house you don't have to share it with anyone else and you have complete privacy.
The price for the whole house is from € 245 per day in July and August, from € 135 per day in June and September and from € 105 per day in April, May and October. The minimum rental period is 5 days.
