We are proud (Dutch) homeowners of this beautiful place and we have made this house what it is today with care and love. For more than 45 years we have enjoyed coming to this fine part of Italy, where time has stood still. Since 2016, VILLA Dagobert has been our second home there. Be welcome to come and enjoy!

What makes VILLA Dagobert unique is that during your entire holiday our Dutch house friend Eline is at your disposal to help with anything. Book restaurants, rent a boat, organize a wine tasting, tips for unique places or a doctor's visit. Very nice for guests who do not (well) master the Italian language. All our guests are very happy with her service.
Service at home
VILLA Dagobert comprises a private property of more than 1.5 hectares, largely filled with olive trees. We have a beautiful olive oil every year. Small-scale in-house production. Sun-ripened unsprayed olives. 100% pure extra virgin olive oil. A beautiful product of which we are extremely proud.

Throughout the year there are many local parties in the vicinity of VILLA Dagobert. As a foreign guest you are always welcome here. Ask the local tourist information when there are fun things to see or visit.

But beware, the Italians often only know what is happening in their own village. A village away there can also be fun things to do and see during your holiday. So do research yourself!

Just behind VILLA Dagobert is the path of the Via Francigena pilgrimage route. The last part of the Via Franciscina goes via Bolsena, to Montefiascone, towards Viterbo and ends in Rome. From Bolsena you can walk several stretches of these hollow roads built by Etruscans, which often lead along fields, wooded paths, olive trees, vines and medieval villages. Various walking routes are available from the local tourist information in Bolsena or via the internet.

Day trips to these parks are possible by car. For young and old, active or a nice bath in warm water (sulfur) baths as the Romans liked to do.

In Bolsena (7 km from VILLA Dagobert) you can rent (electric) bicycles. Nice to cycle a round more. Suitable for both experienced and less experienced cyclists.
