At Casa Iseo, comfort and style are seamlessly combined. It was completely renovated and modernized several years ago, from electricity and water pipes to heating, floors, walls, windows, doors, and even the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms have been renewed.

In Tavernola Bergamasca you will find all basic amenities: bakeries, butcher, bars, supermarkets, restaurants, hairdressers, shops, doctor and pharmacy. The center and the nearest beach are less than a 5-minute drive from our place.
A few years ago, we sat 'front row' from the terrace at the world-famous artwork 'Floating Piers'. That was a temporary work of art on the water of Lake Iseo, by artist Christo. It consisted of 70,000m2 of yellow fabric, carried by a modular floating dock system of 226,000 high-density polyethylene cubes.
There are plenty of (sports) activities possible around our place: cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golf, kayaking, sailing and in winter also skiing (45 minutes drive) are common activities. Shopping and visiting cities are within easy reach. Franciacorta Outlet Center (20km) has 140 shops with the most famous brands and real outlet prices.
The indoor shopping center Elnoss Shopping Center near Brescia is also superb, with hundreds of shops, only a 45-minute drive away. As well as Orio Center, also hundreds of indoor shops near Bergamo airport. And it is free parking there.
For example, you can fly with Ryanair to Bergamo Orio al Serio (30 km from our house, half an hour away by car).
Orio al Serio airport is only half an hour's drive from our house! We are Dutch owners, but have local help from an Italian lady (Mara). Of course, we are always immediately available at all times in case there is anything.

SAFETY
- A very extensive first aid kit is available. In accordance with Italian rental regulations, 6-litre foam extinguishers with a 34A/233B fire rating and fire blanket are provided.
- We have ELRO FS(*CONTENT HIDDEN*) smoke detectors that comply with NEN-EN 14604.
- We have an Alecto COA3910 Carbon monoxide detector in house (EN50291-1:2018 standard).
- We also have a Nedis gas detector in-house (NEN-EN 14604:2005/C1:2008 certification).
⚠️ CAUTION ⚠️
- Our house is not suitable for disabled people and is not equipped for babies/toddlers/preschoolers
- You reach the house via a staircase down (2 x 20 steps) and the house itself has two floors that you reach via an internal staircase. So if you have difficulty walking, that may not be pleasant.
- The road to our house is 700 meters long and on average 15% steep. It is an asphalted road where passing is easy. But people who are very afraid to drive up a hill/mountain should not book.
