The chalet
The chalet is located in a beautiful location on the campsite, about 15 meters from Lake Lugano. From the veranda you can enjoy the Alps and you have a partial view of the water with the town of Osteno in the distance. The accommodation is fully equipped and offers all the ingredients for a relaxing holiday.

The chalet is located on an Italian campsite in the charming village of Porlezza, about 975 kilometers from Utrecht and is therefore easy to reach within one day. The campsite is not too tightly laid out, but has various fine facilities including a nice restaurant, playgrounds, a mini market and a swimming pool with slides (open from about mid June to mid September). In the mini market you can get fresh bread rolls for breakfast in the morning or a cocktail or a (scoop) ice cream for the beach in the afternoon.
WiFi
Free Wi-Fi is available at the campsite's mini market, restaurant and swimming pool. In addition, there is the option to rent a mini router at the reception for WiFi at the chalet.
Activities in the area
With its quaint villages and stunning landscapes, the area is just waiting to be explored. Be surprised by the enchanting nature or by the Italian culture during a visit to the historic city of Como, for example. From breathtaking hikes, challenging mountain bike tours, viewpoints to exciting activities along and on the water: there is something for everyone. The climate
Thanks to the shelter of the surrounding Alps and its location in the valley, Porlezza benefits from a mild Mediterranean climate. The climate is similar to that of places on Lake Como or Lake Maggiore. Because Lake Lugano is slightly higher, the weather is sometimes a little milder. Due to the pleasant climate, you can enjoy the surroundings to the fullest from early spring to late autumn.
Travel information
Whether you travel by car, plane or train, the chalet in Porlezza is easy to reach. For a quick arrival, the car or plane are a good option. You may travel a little longer by train, but you can enjoy beautiful views along the way.
