The house dates from 1707 and was renovated in 2014 under architecture. In the spring there are fireflies. There is virtually no light pollution. On top of the hill, a half-hour walk on a church path, partly on its own land, is the town of Pietranico that was partially built around 1200. Here are small shops for the basic messages such as bread, milk, etc. For more extensive shopping you can go to a few places about 12 km away. It is a wine region. On our property is an old wine barrel from 1706.

There are several tenuta's for tasting wine in the area, such as the family Trullie. The housekeeper's in-law mother can cook on request, very tasty, organic and with products partly from our own country and brings the meal to our house. A choice can be made from a menu in advance. The swimming pool, located in the olive grove, is cleaned every morning in the early hours. There are beautiful old towns in the area that can be visited such as Sulmona (birthplace Ovidius) and Chieti. There is a 9 hole golf course 12 km away. In the winter you can ski in the area and cross-country skiing is also possible.

There are six spacious bedrooms, four bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink and bidet, one with a bathtub. A cozy, beautifully furnished living room with fireplace (wood is abundant) and a large dining room / kitchen, which is fully equipped, such as a six-burner stove, oven, refrigerator with purified and cooled water and ice cubes. A roof terrace with stunning views of the area where it is beautiful to look at the stars and planets. A stargazer is present. The covered terrace of 10 by 5 meters is equipped with a large table with benches and chairs, again suitable for up to twelve people. In the summer, the fig tree provides delicious fruit every day alongside the terrace. The windows and doors are all equipped with screens against mosquitoes and shutters against too much sun. On the grass there is a table with benches and chairs and a barbecue. In the season the plums and apricots are within easy reach.

Via a path of about 100 meters long that runs along old olive trees one comes to the pool of 6 by 12 meters. Recently, a pool house has been laid out in style with the lounge chairs and lounge chairs, as well as the pool, balls, parasol, etc. The croquet game and jeu de boules attributes are also available.

The house is on a hill with a long, half-paved, driveway. For this reason, the use of a front-wheel drive car is recommended.
