The lovely bungalow is located in a quiet area in the northeast of Bali in Jasri and is built in Balinese style. Jasri is located on the east coast of Bali in Karangasem district. The bungalow is located between the rice fields and by the sea. The bungalow has a free location with a view of beautiful various plants at the front and a view of the sawa at the rear. It is located in a quiet village of Jasri where you can still experience the real Balinese life on a daily basis. A few minutes' walk to the sea, various cremonies, rituals and cremations regularly take place on the beach
Here you will find privacy, peace and nature. It is also a good base for walks and tracking, such as climbing the volcano. You can also visit the Hindu temples, Balinese dance performances. You can also practice various water sports including snorkeling, diving, surfing. Everything is possible and within reach.

The landscape of this part of Bali (the district is called Karangasem) is dominated by the mighty Gunung Agung and is one of the most spectacular volcanoes on the island.
Karangasem is the most traditional region of Bali with rustic villages, temples and the beautiful and famous rice terraces. It even serves as an example for other Asian countries. The people are hospitable. It is the least touristy and least densely populated region of Bali.

We are Rudy and Jola and we fully enjoy the recently renovated house in Jasri. We love the peace, nature and contact with the local people. Jasri is also very suitable as a base for walks, tracking, snorkeling, diving, car trips, tours with a motorcycle or moped, etc. So too many to mention.
We would like to share all these things with you, so that you too can enjoy Jasri and the beautiful surroundings. We therefore offer you the possibility to rent our house.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Rental price 2025/2026 ( The rental price is based on a stay of 2 people)

2025/2026 Per week    €    380,--
   Per 3 weeks € 1020,--
   Per 4 weeks € 1250,--

For each additional person (up to max. 4 people) the price is € 50,-- p.p.p.w.
Price per night extra, from a stay of 1 week is € 50,--, per night in consultation with the landlord.

The rental price includes: gas, water, electricity, bed linen / towels, internet, tourist tax, final cleaning and colon water on arrival.

Additional costs:
A deposit of € 100 is required upon reservation ,-. You will get this back after departure after checking the inventory of the holiday home.

Payment
Deposit of 25% of the total travel sum within 1 week after booking.
Remaining payment of 75% of the total travel sum no later than 6 weeks before arrival.
Payments by bank transfer(s). Unfortunately, we do not accept credit cards and cheques.

Cancellation

from the 42nd calendar day before arrival: 80% of the travel sum;
from the 42nd calendar day to the 30th day before arrival: 50% of the travel sum;
from the 30th calendar day to the 21st day before arrival: 25% of the travel sum;
From the 21st calendar day until arrival, no refund is possible

Made is the help in the household. During your stay, she cleans the house every day, the beds are made, the laundry is done, etc. She comes in the morning from 08.00 am and stays until she has finished her work. It is possible to arrange a different time with her if you think 08:00 is too early.
Made can cook well. The costs are 15,000Rp p.p.p.d (+/- € 1.00)., this to be paid on the spot to Made. You can buy the groceries yourself or have Made do it for you and pay for it on the spot with Made.

Our gardener is called Putu and is Made's husband. He maintains the garden and comes in the morning and/or late afternoon. You can also contact him for helping hands.

The driver's name is Nengah. If you want to see or know more about the island, regarding the mentioned trips, you can contact him on the spot. Nengah speaks good English.
The pick-up service to and from the airport can be arranged by us. The distance from the airport is about 65 kilometers and the drive takes about 1 1/2 hours.

For more than 4 people (or 2 x 2 people separately), there is another equivalent holiday bungalow available on the same property.

In the immediate vicinity are various places of interest, which can be visited by bemo or moped, such as:

Amlapura
The capital of Karangasem is about 15 minutes away. Amlapura with local tokos, some supermarkets, cozy pasar and evening pasar. On the outskirts of Amlapura you will find an old sultan's palace.

Water Palace Ujung
A 10-minute drive away is the Ujung Water Palace, which you can also walk to from Jasri through sawas.

Tirtaganga Water Palace
Is a pond complex, built on the site of a holy spring, the site of a small water temple. It was the weekend residence of a former Raja. It has shallow pools with pleasantly cool water. The famous water basins, fountains, bizarre statues and figurines of the open-air palace on the slope of Mount Agung are open to the public. You can also swim there in the afternoon (in the morning the water is too cold)

Lempuyang Temple
The temple is known for its well-known 'gates of heaven'. This temple is located on a high mountain and because of this height you have a great view over the landscape and especially the volcano Gunung Agung. To get to the highest point you have to climb +/- 1750 steps. If it is not cloudy, you can see a beautiful view through the gates of heaven, with the Gunung Agung in the background

Tenganan
At 30 minutes you will find an old original Balinese village Tengana. Through a narrow gate one enters a still untouched world. With the city wall, the inhabitants, members of a Bali Aga tribe, have managed to keep modern civilization out of their village.

40 minutes north of Jasri are Ahmed and Tulamben for the diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The most fun for diving and snorkeling is Tulamben (also easy to reach from Ahmed). Here is a Japanese warship at the bottom of the sea, at a very short distance from the beach. You walk into the water and after about 10 meters you can already see the tip of the ship a few meters below you. Particularly fascinating, also for snorkelers, you can clearly see the tip of the ship, completely grown and a place to stay for beautiful fish.

Nearby, about a 10-minute drive from our bungalow with the Bemo or moped, is a very beautiful white beach Pasir Putih. In a bay where you can enjoy pure tranquility and also snorkel and swim. There are several warungs where you can have a drink and/or eat. You can get there by boat (jukung) from the beach at our bungalow with a local fisherman.
