This detached ruralhut with a modern tipi tent is located on a hill on its own grounds. It is located in a beautiful rolling landscape on a valley in an agricultural village. The tent is a short distance next to the house. Behind the cottage is a spacious swimming pool. The cottage has a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. There is a large room with sitting area, kitchen, two single beds and a double sofa bed. The tipi tent is very spacious and comfortable with the possibility to add one or two sleeping cabins. The tent is spacious enough for four people. There is a beautiful view, because of the high location you can look at the church on the other side of the valley or at the farmer's fields and the hills on the other side. There is a hot tub that you can rent for an evening. You can enjoy nature here, enjoy the fruit orchard, the starry sky and the sunset on your own property. Washing machine use on request. You can eat well by, for example, hanging the bogrács (Hungarian pan) above the open fire on the fire pit, for pleasant, long evenings. On this two-hectare property, there is another house at the foot of the hill. That's where the landlords live. There is enough space (an orchard) between the two houses to guarantee privacy.

Welcome to Az Almafa. That means the apple tree, named after the beautiful standard apple tree that we first saw when we visited this place. We immediately fell in love with the location. Rolling landscape, a valley with a river in front of the door and an orchard with delicious fruit in summer and autumn and beautiful blossoms in spring. Soon we had it so cozy that we don't want to keep it to ourselves. That is why we also started renting 10 years ago.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The price is for the Guest House and the tent together.
For rental of only the guesthouse see Az Almafa 2.
Renting the tent alone is not an option.
Sheets and towels are included. Excluding cleaning costs 25,- per stay.

In case of a negative travel advice, the cancellation is FREE.
If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of writtencancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

There are many species of birds, deer, foxes, butterflies and all kinds of animals that you can expect in a meadow bordering forests. The landlord is a bird lover and will gladly give you information about this. Hungary also has many natural parks with a wide variety. The area is perfect for hiking, birding, fishing or hunting. In the garden, the landlords have had visitors of deer, foxes and special bird species. There are also permanent residents, such as the redstart, the emerald lizard, the hedgehog and the tree frog. But especially go exploring yourself! Kis Balaton is also a beautiful natural location. This is a nature reserve that you can only pass through with a guide, with buffalo and special bird species. In Tamasi (five kilometers) there are all necessary facilities (banks, supermarkets, shops, etcetera). Tamasi also has a famous thermal bath that has recently been completely renovated. This terrain has several indoor and outdoor pools, playground. Lake Balaton is a half hour drive. Beautiful cities like Budapest, Kaposvár or Pécs are all easily accessible.
