This small villa is located an 8-minute drive from the center of Pécs (Southwest Hungary) in the middle of an orchard of approximately 3000 m². There are several fruit trees and our guests can pick cherries, apricots, peaches and figs (depending on the season) straight from the trees. This orchard is located on the mountain hill Deindol and looks out to the south over the city and the surrounding area. In the other directions, you look out over vineyards on adjacent hills.
Next to the house is a panoramic swimming pool with a sliding roof and near the pool is a covered Tuscan terrace with extra seating. The caretaker lives most of the year in the house on the adjacent property, and speaks fluent Dutch and Hungarian.
Pécs is a city that has it all: a sunny climate, a rich history, bustling terraces and beautiful natural surroundings. Located at the foot of the Mecsek Mountains, the city, as a former European Capital of Culture, offers not only impressive monuments, but also numerous opportunities for nature lovers and relaxation seekers. Stroll through the picturesque streets full of Mediterranean charm, discover the Roman and Ottoman influences or enjoy a glass of wine on a cozy terrace.
For those who love nature, the green hills of the Mecsek are ideal for hiking and cycling, with magnificent views of the city. The surrounding area has a lot to offer too: relax by the beautiful recreational lake of Orfű, perfect for swimming, boating and water sports, or visit the wine region of Villány, a short distance from Pécs. Festivals, lively markets and the warm atmosphere make this city a perfect destination for anyone who wants to combine recreation, nature and culture.
