A place where the morning begins with the song of birds and the evening ends with a spectacular starry sky, while the deer and wild boar literally walk past your garden.
A house with a story
After a five-year search throughout Europe, I immediately fell in love with this place. The country house, an originally German-Hungarian country house from 1886, had exactly the soul I was looking for. I have owned the house for eight years and lived there permanently for two years during the corona period. In 2020 , the house was completely renovated with a lot of love. It meets all modern luxuries, but retains its unique character. Think of walls of 1.5 meters thick (loam), which form a natural air conditioner in the summer and retain the heat from the central heating and the two atmospheric soapstone stoves in the winter.

We believe in a carefree holiday. That is why our villa is fully equipped. No need to lug around linens or basic supplies; Everything is ready for you:
Luxury Textiles: Freshly made beds on arrival, plenty of towels and extra warm blankets for the chilly evenings.
Bathroom & Kitchen: Shampoo, shower gel, dishwashing liquid and detergent are standard.
Entertainment: Fast and stable Wi-Fi network (also for work). The TVs are equipped with Netflix for a relaxing movie night.
Facilities: A modern dishwasher and washing machine are at your disposal. But also an oven, tea towels, cleaning products, vacuum cleaner. You only take your clothes with you!

The villa is ideal for (large) families or groups who travel together, but also appreciate privacy:
The Main House: 3 spacious bedrooms, a separate office (for the perfect 'workation'), a bathroom with bath and shower, and 2 toilets.
The Guesthouse: A charming, self-contained residence on site with 2 beds, a private kitchen and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Ideal to be "out of each other's aura" for a while.
Outdoor Living: Your Own Wellness & Nature Reserve
The showpiece is the private swimming pool. Thanks to the luxurious glass roof, the water always stays warm and clean. You swim here with a direct view of the forest. The garden is a dream for bon vivants: a full outdoor kitchen, two BBQs (gas and coal) and a large family table under a centuries-old walnut tree. Next to the pool you will find an additional cottage with beach chairs.

Although you are surrounded by nature, the rest of the region is within easy reach:
Activities: Wild water swimming pool (20 min), indoor playground, and the unique planning star museum (15 min).
Gastronomy: Restaurant with Dutch menu (5 min!), deer farm with game restaurant (7 min) and various local gems within 10 min.
Day trips: Lake Balaton (40 min), cultural city of Pécs (50 min), Orfű Lakes (50 min) and the border with Croatia (45 min).

Holidays are all about the details. That is why we provide a warm welcome:
Coffee & Tea: You don't have to go directly to the supermarket upon arrival. An espresso machine is provided for you, including coffee, sugar and milk powder. This way you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee under the walnut tree immediately upon arrival.
Conviviality: In the house you will find a collection of board games, including classics such as Rummikub, for the cozy evenings at the large family table. And a whole mountain of Nurf guns.
The sounds of nature: As the sun sinks behind the hills, you will hear nothing but the soothing song of the cicadas. It is the perfect place to leave the hustle and bustle of the Netherlands completely behind.
Walking & Social Socializing
The surroundings of the villa are a paradise for hikers. Directly from the garden you walk into the rolling hills and you can wander for hours through the vast forests without meeting anyone (except a deer or a deer).
Although you enjoy complete privacy with us, you are never alone if you don't need it. The region is very popular with compatriots; many Dutch and Belgians live in the immediate vicinity who have found their peace here. This creates a unique atmosphere in the local restaurants and at the sights. Whether you choose a solitary walk in nature or a cozy evening in a local restaurant, you will feel right at home here.
Carefree stay with Dutch management
Renting out is a family project. My parents emigrated to Hungary, they also fell in love with this place, and live in the same street. Together with a local manager, they provide a warm welcome and are immediately ready for you.
