OUR NEW SWIMMING POOL IS FINISHED!
Many guests preceded you. We built our new modern villa with a fantastic sea view in 2016. On a plot of 2000m2, where our friends have also built 2 houses. Since April 2025 we also have our own swimming pool. The view from the patio and from the pool is breathtakingly beautiful, with views of the sea, hills, an olive grove and of course the garden.
The villa has a ground floor with an area of 70m2. Living room with an open kitchen (induction hob, oven and fridge). Satellite TV and all Dutch TV and radio channels. A bathroom (with double shower), sink and toilet. Also on the ground floor a double bedroom with sea view. The stairs are up to the loft, which is not used by guests. The entire ground floor and the bedroom located there are air-conditioned.
The villa also has a basement of 70m2 where there are 2 double bedrooms so that 6 adults can sleep and stay in the entire villa. In the basement is also a room with a sink, toilet and washing machine.
The terrace (36m2) offers a beautiful view over the Ionian Sea, with the mainland, the Peloponnese and the neighboring island of Kefalonia in the distance. The terrace has a nice lounge sofa and a large dining table. The garden around the house is now mature with oleanders, grapes and olive trees. Furthermore, the villa is equipped with many conveniences: there is a washing machine, an extra (large) fridge with freezer compartments in the basement and large parking spaces on site next to the villa. There is a box with all kinds of swimming equipment, a games basket and a filled bookcase.
The villa is located in the quiet north. The nearest tourist town is Alykes approx. 20 min. ride. A short distance from the villa there are more than enough small beaches and secluded bays where you can take a dip in the beautiful clear sea water. In the immediate vicinity there are many restaurants (in different price ranges), some of which are within walking distance. The port town of Agios Nicolaos is 1500m away. This town is the base for boat trips to the famous Blue Caves and the Shipwreck. You can also enjoy beautiful walks in the area.
Zakynthos town is about 40 min. drive from the house. It is definitely worth a visit to this town. In our guestbook you will find many other tips about idyllic places that can be visited.
We recommend our guests to rent a car, there is virtually no public transport on the island. When booking you will receive all kinds of information from us about renting a car, the area, the route to the house ect.
