Are you on a charter flight within Greece and you want to go to Turkey then have in mind that you must be back within 24 hours in Greece, otherwise you lose the right to fly on the charter flight back home.
If you want to visit Northern Cyprus (occupied by Turkey), you must first obtain information, so you know what problems you might face.

Participation in traffic in Greece requires adaptation to what what you're used to at home.
Traffic rules are not always respected.
Don't go debating, because you rarely get your right.
Be alert in any situation that, for example, people continue to drive, where one really has to stop or they don't show intention of changing direction and still going left or right, and so on.
It is not always indicate who has priority. This is sometimes a matter of knowing.
When in doubt, prevail not to continue, but rather wait until you are safe to continue your way.
Give a good example and hopefully there comes a time that this example is taken over by the locals.
The maximum speed on the major roads is
80 kph and 50 kph in urban areas.
Seatbelts and helmets are mandatory and is regularly checked by the police.
Users of mopeds or scooters should be extra vigilant.
The roads can be very slippery and sudden use of the brake may have very unpleasant consequences.
Pedestrians should be very alert when crossing the road, this also applies to crosswalks.
There are only a few road users who will stop for you.
In every place you can rent cars and scooters.

  • Fam. Gorthuis, with partner. Gave on an average of 9.4

  • Alie De Roos, with partner. Gave on an average of 9.3

Alie Jensma.

  • Aalt van Drie, with the family. Gave on an average of 9.1
