The spacious villa, with enclosed tropical garden, surrounded by olive trees, is within walking distance of the village Vasilitsi (grocery and popular tavern available) and is quietly located. The villa has 2 very large verandas with beautiful sea views and a view of the Taygetos Mountains, from both the ground floor and 1st floor, over the full width of both verandas (13 meters wide) and from the living room and kitchen. Several terraces also around the private pool.
An additional terrace shaded by palms and grapes is located in the tropical garden. The upper floor consists of a large living room, the spacious (dining) kitchen equipped with quality appliances, two bedrooms and a toilet/bathroom.
The ground floor has a bedroom and toilet/bathroom. Air conditioning is available in the various rooms, as is heating. WIFI available. The entire house is equipped with double glazing (cold and heat resistant) with aluminum shutters and insect screens. No open fires such as charcoal BBQ, candles etc allowed . However, there is an A quality electric BBQ (Weber) available on the terrace in the garden covered with grapevines. There is also an attractive alternative for candles.
The nearest sandy beach is 3km away. Koroni, Methoni, Finikounda, Pylos and the golf courses at Pylos can be reached quickly and easily by car. Kalamata airport is 40km away. There are direct flights to this airport from Amsterdam (Transavia), Dusseldorf (Eurowings, Condor Air), Munich, Brussels, London, Manchester (Easyjet). Athens is a 3.5 hour drive. Excursions to ancient sites such as Olympia, Mycenae, Mistras are possible.
