Do you want to experience the real Greek life? Stay in Kabana and in the morning walk through the narrow streets of the village to the supermarket where you can buy fresh bread or Greek yogurt from one of the two local dairies. From the house you can take the most beautiful walks in the area and in the evening you settle down in one of the wonderful tavernas that Sellia has.

Various beaches and bays such as Souda, Fotinari or Plakias are a 10-minute drive from Sellia.

Kabana has been recently renovated and is full of character and original features. The 70m2 spacious house is on one floor and can accommodate up to four people. From the spacious living room with patio doors to the balcony you have a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. Kabana has two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a double bed (160x200). The bathroom is spacious, has a rain shower and there is a washing machine.

In 2014 I came to South Crete to work there for a season. Soon the place and this part of the island felt like home and in 2015 I moved there permanently. At the beginning of 2022 I renovated the house in the middle of the pleasant and authentic village of Sellia. Hospitality is in my blood and I am sure that after staying in Kabana my love for this village and the beautiful region proved to be contagious!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Tax
As of January 1, 2024, a new "environmental tax" has been established by the Greek government, Law 5073/2023 (Government Gazette ? 204/11-12-2023). These costs are calculated per night per home (i.e. not per person). For the 2025 season, the amounts set by law are as follows:
- From November to February: € 4.00 per night
- From March to October: € 8.00 per night

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled up to 30 days before arrival. If you book less than 30 days before arrival, you will get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before arrival. After that, if you cancel up to seven days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you wait any longer, you will not receive a refund.
