Villa Kari

Villa Kari is a beautiful new villa in the south of Crete for 4 people with private pool. The villa is furnished with care, is fully equipped and is located on a complex with 10 other villas. Villa Kari is located at the bottom of this complex and has a breathtaking view over the valley. From the villa you can step straight into the olive groves. Here you can completely relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Inside
The villa has a modern well-fitted kitchen diner with sliding doors to the terrace. There are two spacious bedrooms each with its own toilet, sink and rain shower. The bedrooms have quiet ceiling fans and air conditioning. There is also air conditioning in the kitchen. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets and shutters so you can keep it nice and cool during the day.  

Outside
From the kitchen and the bedrooms you can step onto the terrace and have a fantastic view over the valley, the Libyan Sea and the villages in the area. On the terrace is a large dining table with 4 chairs and a bench with table and 2 chairs. There is an outdoor shower and around the private swimming pool (6x4 meters) there are sun loungers and three large umbrellas. You will always find a place in the sun or in the shade. The outdoor kitchen at the bottom of the terrace has a sink and here too there are two sunbeds and 2 two beach chairs. At the entrance of the villa you can park your car.

Surroundings  
Mariou is a pretty village within walking distance of your accommodation. In the square there is a small shop where you can buy locally made cheese and yogurt, eggs, bread, coffee and some necessary shopping. There is also a small grill tavern on the square and a little further down the village on the road a traditional kafenion. Here the men sit on the sidewalk under the mulberry tree drinking their coffee or raki and playing a game of cards. Mariou taverna is less than a 10-minute walk from the villa and has a beautiful view of the whole area. Plakias is 4 km away and has all the facilities: supermarkets, restaurants, beach bars, a very long beach and much more.

Activities
This area is known for its rugged nature, birds of prey, many olive trees, beautiful beaches and breathtaking views. You can reach this region via the Kotsifou gorge or the Kourtaliotiko gorge. The latter is known for its waterfalls that you reach via a long staircase. Here you can walk, jog, horseback ride, dive, snorkel, make beautiful tours and above all enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
