Located a few kilometers from one of the most beautiful historic towns of the Mediterranean: Rethymnon. Approximately 50 minutes drive from the airports of Chania and Heraklion. Close to large sandy beaches with cozy bars and taverns but just as close to secluded beaches between the rocks that Greece is so famous for. Also close to beautiful gorges and only a 40-minute drive to the South Coast as well.
The 150 m2 villa is built according to authentic Greek standards with old stone walls and wooden shutters and is located on a private plot of 1500 m2, between its own olive and fruit trees. The villa is completely on one level and therefore very user-friendly. Beautiful views of the ocean, mountains, nature and villages. Nice large veranda for cozy dinner and breakfast.
Designed by a Dutch family that has rented dozens of villas all over the world. All that experience has been combined with Greek architects in this uniquely designed villa. All four bedrooms and two bathrooms have their own identity and the beautifully high living area with hardwood sloping ceiling gives a huge feeling of spaciousness. Together with the large swimming pool of 40m2, surrounded by a lovely lawn and bbq area, all this makes your stay in villa Kyria an unforgettable experience.
5 minutes from the beach. 10 minutes from Rethymon. Dozens of delicious and cheap Taverns nearby. Even within walking distance. Only 35 minutes drive from the South of Crete.
The villa is suitable for 2 to 4 adults (the entire Villa that is rented out as Villa Kyria is suitable for 8 people) but because we often have guests who come as a couple or with 4 people, we also want to offer our villa under the name Kyria Mikro. The villa offers a lot of privacy to every independent guest due to its sophisticated layout. The Villa has 2 wings, if you rent Villa Kyria Mikro, 2 rooms will be closed, but for the rest you will make full use of all the facilities of our pride.
The adjacent Villa Anna (with its own pool) is from the same owner and is connected to Villa Kyria by a fence. For 12 people, Villa Kyria and Villa Anna together offer a wonderful opportunity to stay with a large(r) family. Villa Kyria is located together with three smaller villas on a ridge 4 km from the sea, within walking distance of the picturesque historic Greek village of Kyrianna, where cozy little cafes, restaurants and shops can be found. From the Villa you can also take beautiful walks. The villa is located on a hill with a gorge on both sides.
If you rent our villa we do recommend a car. Also, if you rent, we can help you find reliable car rentals, and of course the best places to view and above all enjoy the great Greek cuisine.
We do not rent to a group of young people.
