Welcome to Villa Filakia, a lovely holiday home located on the hills of Gavalochori with a view over the village, the white mountain peaks and the vast green valley, in the distance you look at the clear blue sea and passing cruise ships.
Villa Filakia has 2 bedrooms, both with air conditioning. From bedroom 1, which is equipped with a double bed, you walk into the ensuite bathroom and the 2nd bedroom, with 2 single beds, is adjacent to a 2nd shower and toilet. The complete kitchen is fully equipped and is located in the same room as the living area.
On colder days, the central heating can be turned on and lighting a romantic fire is possible in the fireplace. From the living room you enter through the patio doors to a covered sitting area, the most used space for a cup of coffee or where you can disappear into a book undisturbed. Around the house are several shaded seating areas and especially enjoy the roof terrace, enjoy a Mediterranean snack or drink under a pergola at an 8-person table with chairs, the view is even more beautiful here and you look even further over the vast green valley and villages of the Apokoronas.
Gavalohori is a small Greek village in the municipality of Apokoronas, which belongs to the municipality of Vamos. It has about 350 inhabitants. Gavalohori is named after the Byzantine Gavalodon family who lived there around the year 1200. Within walking distance there are 2 supermarkets and you can eat delicious food at Monica or Arismari, in the morning you walk from the house to the smell of the bakery where you get delicious freshly baked sandwiches.
