One of its highlights is the spacious rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the sea and mountains while starting your day with a coffee, practicing yoga or watching the sun set over the horizon. The private garden provides complete seclusion, making it the perfect place to relax with a book or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The villa offers a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need, including a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and all essential kitchen appliances, allowing you to feel completely at home during your stay.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with traditional Cretan hospitality, including local honey, raki, wine and a generous welcome basket filled with fresh seasonal products from the region. Spend your days relaxing by the private swimming pool or exploring the nearby beaches, charming villages and the historic town of Rethymno. In the evening, enjoy the tranquillity and admire the spectacular star-filled sky from the terrace.
For added comfort, the swimming pool can be heated upon request, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing swim even during the cooler months.
As a guest at Villa Ikaros, you will also enjoy a range of exclusive experiences, including a traditional Cretan breakfast once per week, access to a private beach with sunbeds, a digital guide featuring hidden local gems, and a carefully prepared welcome basket with authentic local products.
Guests can choose between a personal welcome or self check-in. Check-in is available from 4:00 PM and check-out until 10:00 AM. The villa offers private parking for two cars, full access to the villa, garden and swimming pool, and 24/7 guest support throughout your stay.
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, smoking is not permitted inside the villa, parties are only allowed with prior approval, quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM, and children should always be supervised around the swimming pool.
Villa Ikaros is equipped with high-quality bed linen and towels, complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning throughout the villa, a safe, alarm system, weekly housekeeping with linen changes, and swimming pool maintenance twice a week. A baby cot and high chair are available upon request.
Ideally located just a short drive from the beaches, supermarkets and the centre of Rethymno, Villa Ikaros also offers easy access to both Heraklion and Chania airports, each approximately one hour away. A rental car is recommended to fully explore the island and its beautiful surroundings.
Additional services can be arranged upon request, including airport transfers, a private chef, massage and wellness treatments, excursions and activities, as well as grocery shopping before your arrival.
