The luxurious Villa Hermes, built in 2021, is located on a quiet, cul-de-sac in the authentic village of Pogonia. The villa offers a breathtaking view over the Bay of Paleros and the Akarnian mountains beyond.

In the morning you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the mountains and in the evening you have a view of the lights of Paleros on the other side of the bay. This lively harbour town with shops and a variety of terraces and taverns is 4 km away. A 20-minute walk will take you to Pogonia Beach. Here, in summer, you will find two cozy beach pavilions, where you can have a drink or a bite to eat. Half an hour's drive will take you to Lefkada with its beautiful, endless beaches, which are considered to be among the most beautiful in Europe, and the turquoise Ionian Sea.

The villa consists of two parts, separated by a large terrace with outdoor kitchen. The left part contains the stylish living room with comfortable sofa, dining table with 6 seats and the fully equipped kitchen and the master bedroom with bed (160 x 200), an en-suite bathroom with sink and walk-in rain shower, separate toilet and ample closet space.
The right part consists of two 2-person guest rooms with their own walk-in rain shower and shared toilet. Room 1 has two single beds (90 x 200), room 2 has 1 bed (160 x 200), ample closet space and a small desk.

All rooms offer a beautiful view of the surroundings through the large glass sliding doors. From your bed you can enjoy the sunrise. What a start to the day!

From all rooms you have access to the very large terrace with four comfortable, teak sunbeds. Here you will find the infinity pool of 7 x 3.5 meters and the outdoor kitchen, which is equipped with countertop with hot and cold water, a large dining table with 6 seats and a gas BBQ.

The villa is equipped with air conditioning, 50" smart TV, wifi with internet connection and has a private parking space.

Accessibility:
from Schiphol to Preveza. From the small, well-organized airport it is half an hour's drive to the villa.
You can also fly to Athens or Thessaloniki from various airports in the Netherlands and Belgium. From here it is about a 3.5 hour drive to the villa.

We didn't have to think long: Pogonia, that's where we want to build our Greek holiday villa!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this to the renter by e-mail.
The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the written cancellation by the tenant.

Cancellation more than three months before the start of the rental period: free of charge.
Cancellation between the 90th and 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25 % of the rental price.
Cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price.
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100 % of the rental price.

Additional information

In the mid-14th century, the first monastery arose on the tops of the rocks. Another 23 monasteries would follow, of which 6 are now preserved and some are still inhabited by monks. This Unesco heritage is more than 3 hours drive from Pogonia. So not next door, but with an overnight stay there it is doable. Very worthwhile!
