Villa Zaverda

From its hillside location, Villa Zaverda has fantastic panoramic views of the picturesque village, the bay of Paleros village and the imposing Acarnanian mountains in the background. The villa located next to adjacent olive groves is within walking distance of the beach (approximately 5 minutes walk) and the village. Paleros is a Greek fishing village with the advantage of being on the mainland, with plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful secluded beaches, sailing, walking, diving, playing tennis, swimming, dining in the many tavernas and restaurants and enjoying the traditional Greek gastronomy .

Aktion Airport (PVK, Preveza) is about 30 minutes away. Renting a car is not necessarily necessary around the villa and the village, but it does give you the opportunity to explore all the beaches and water activities such as sailing, kite and windsurfing in the area. In addition, it is a beautiful starting point, especially in spring and autumn, for hiking through the mountains or using the Lefkada trails on the nearby island of Lefkas.

The beaches of Paleros and Pogonia, with generally calm waters, are ideal for children. There are some cool beach bars with music, food and the delicious Greek cold coffee. Vathiavali, for example, has spectacular turquoise water, a relaxing atmosphere and a great beach bar. If you fancy a cultural visit you can visit the ancient ruins of Paleros or Necropoli near Preveza. Also recommended is the Church Bay of Agios Ioannis, with nothing but a church and ideal for having a picnic with your friends/family and enjoying a drink, and perhaps playing music yourself. Or visit one of the more southerly styrands towards Mythikas.

There is a tennis court in the village, which is easy to reserve and private lessons are possible. Day sailing with a professional skipper gives you the opportunity to explore the beautiful Ionian Islands, including Skorpios, the famous island that belonged to Aristotle Onassis and where Jackie Kennedy was photographed many years earlier. The villages of Mytikas, Vonitsa but also Lefkada Town (with its urban atmosphere and many restaurants) are less than half an hour's drive away.

Villa Zaverda has three bedrooms, a large private swimming pool, terrace (patio) with lots of privacy, a sun terrace and a large garden. The private swimming pool measures 5 by 10 meters and is low in chlorine due to the salt system. One is various seating areas, parasols, teak sunbeds and seating/lounge bags in the outdoor area. There is also a simple outdoor kitchen and an outdoor refrigerator for drinks.

The main residence consists of a cozy living room with a fully equipped open kitchen with all amenities. The living room has sliding doors spanning the full width, with a beautiful view of the swimming pool, the terrace, the village and the sea. The living room has a dining table for six people, a comfortable seating area and a Smart TV.

Adjacent is the master bedroom with a double bed, spacious fitted wardrobes, a separate toilet, a sink and a walk-in rain shower. This room also has sliding doors with the same view as from the living room.

There are two bedrooms on the other side of the patio. Both rooms have sliding doors that open onto the patio. Both also have spacious fitted wardrobes and a walk-in rain shower. These bedrooms are separated by a room with two sinks and a separate toilet. There are sliding doors between the bedrooms and this room for any desired privacy.

All bedrooms have mirrors, the bedrooms near the patio also have a small worktop. The entire villa is equipped with WiFi, the signal of which is amplified by WiFi amplifiers. All windows have mosquito sliding doors and electric shutters. Finally, the villa has four air conditioning units, one in each room. There is a private parking space.

Children are welcome at Villa Zaverda, and it is important for the little ones to know that the swimming pool is level with the terrace and that the terrace extends approximately 1 meter above the garden. There is no fence around the pool and terrace. These dangers are at your own risk. Villa Zaverda accepts no liability.

Cleaning of the villa and change of linen in the middle of the week is included in the price.

Villa Zaverda has bedrooms for six people. In the main residence, after consultation with the landlord, it is possible to use a double sofa bed.
