Apartments "Edel" are ideal for families, families and/or groups of friends for single use or for shared use. When used together, there are sleeping places for max. 12 persons (10 adults, 2 children).
The apartments are located next to each other and each has its own character.
The style is the same.
Apartment A (2-6 pers.) has a cozy "German dining area", sitting area, separate kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Extra guest toilet with washbasin. Balcony with picnic table and garden chairs. Beautiful view.
Apartment B (2-6 pers.) has a larger living room with dining table that can accommodate 10-12 people. Sitting area with electric fireplace, 3 bedrooms (1 with bunk beds and 1 with a so-called French bed (bed 140 wide), separate kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating, bath and double sink. Large balcony with picnic table, garden furniture and 2 sun loungers. Beautiful view.
Downstairs in the hallway is an extra toilet, dated but still in good condition. Also in the laundry room downstairs a sauna, also dated, but still fine to use. This laundry area also has shoe dryers (for general use)
Nordeanu is located exactly between the two tourist attractions of the Sauerland: Winterberg and Schmallenberg. The town itself is also called "the Alpine village" of the Sauerland and is especially famous for its so-called "Heilstollen".

For more than 25 years we traveled with our family, regularly to "the Sauerland" to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Walking, cycling, mountain biking, weekend skiing, cross-country skiing, We were therefore very happy that in November 2016 we were able to realize our dream "cottage Sauerland". The apartment building is located on a slope in the idyllic village of Nordenau.
We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do every time!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

From 7 days the overnight price is € 90 per night.
Prices include the use of heating, electricity and water. Upon arrival, the beds are made and there is a towel set (bath towel, towel, washcloth) ready for everyone. Kitchen linen and dishcloths are ready on the counter.
There is plenty of toillet paper, kitchen rolls, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products.
You can use the available coffee, tea, sugar, herbs, spices and cooking oil.
For the tourist tax you will receive the so-called SauerlandCard. This gives you free bus transport throughout the Sauerland and discounts on various attractions. (For example: "Heilstollen" in Nordenau, 1st entrance free for everyone with a SauerlandCard)

Nordenau is a so-called "Staatlich anerkannte Luftkurot" and lies at 600-800 m. A nice base for walks, bike rides, mountain biking, car and motorbike rides. The village has a beautiful old church with also the ruin of castle "Rappelstein" with its viewing platform. From here you have a beautiful view over the idyllic village and its surroundings in all directions. In the lower Kurpark there is a well-cared-for children's playground. There is also, in addition to the trout ponds, a so-called "Trebecken". Here you can refresh your feet after a strenuous walk. Good for the blood circulation!
