After several times hiking and skiing in the beautiful Sauerland and staying in hotels and apartments that were part of the owner's home, we looked for something where we were more free. When we got the opportunity to buy a bungalow at Europa-fereindorf, this wish came true. We enjoy the wonderful, quiet and natural environment of our bungalow. Location & area recommendations

Additional information

Within walking distance of your home you will find the village of Husen. A little further lies the village Atteln (2km) with a post office, supermarkets, butchers and restaurants. The immediate surroundings of the house is ideal for walking and cycling. On 15 minutes away is the beautiful city of Paderborn, where you can shop, go out and visit the market. The Hollywood Safari Park Stukenbrock and Fort Fun in Bestwig are two beautiful parks in the vicinity. A day at an open air museum, archaeological museum, tractor museum, glassworks, eagle or bird show is definitely worth it. The palaces where Queen Emma and Prince Bernhard spent their youth are nearby and are also on display. There are also caves, medieval monasteries, castles, churches and an old mine shaft. Besides all the above activities are also organized regular events for our guests in the village as Schutz Fest, Easter fire and cozy evenings. Very nice view over the valley with snow.

In the nearby area, the Dalheim Monastery from the 13th century and the war museum in Wewelsburg (Dreieck Castle) are well worth a visit.
