Groupaccommodation Hochsauerland

Spacious, modern and flexible group accommodation for 10 to 32 people in the heart of Hochsauerland, near the popular tourist towns such as Winterberg (10km) and Willingen (15km). The house is located in the small authentic village of Elpe, on the edge of the forest and with a large garden, through which our own mountain stream 'the Dormecke' flows. The garden has a number of terraces, play equipment and a barbecue area.

'Haus Hohenstein an der Dormecke' is an ideal large house if you are looking for accommodation for a group traveling together such as families or groups of friends. The house consists of 7 apartments for 4-6 persons, a group room with kitchen and a large garden. All apartments are fully furnished and modern equipped with a private bathroom with shower, private kitchen, living room, 1 or 2 bedrooms, WiFi and balcony / terrace with garden furniture. When you rent the entire house (maximum 32 people), there are of course no other guests in the building.

On the 2nd floor it has a group living/dining room with space for up to 30 people. This is equipped with a large flat screen TV with Dutch HD channels and a stereo system. There is also room to use a beamer. In addition, this group room has a kitchen with an oven, refrigerator, 4-burner stove, kettle, dishwasher and coffee machine. In the living room there are two extra refrigerators with a large work surface for buffets etc. ​

The large garden borders directly on the forest and offers space for the entire group. Children can play endlessly on the playground equipment, in the woods or in our stream in warm weather.

The big advantage is that it is a combination of private apartments and a group house. In the group room there is space to have a nice breakfast, dinner or to play a drink/game. But there is also the possibility to withdraw (as a family) in the apartment and to find some peace and quiet or to sit together with a smaller group. This makes it an ideal group accommodation for groups of friends, families, courses or training. The advantage of using the apartments as bedrooms is that you always have your own luxury bathroom and smaller kitchen/living room for every 4 beds.
