The living room is also equipped with a pleasant spacious sofa, Dutch TV channels and a stereo system. The fully equipped kitchen, dining/garden room and master bedroom are located on the ground floor. On the first floor is a large bathroom, the living room and 2 other bedrooms connected by a connecting door. One bedroom has a bunk bed and is suitable for children. Includes bed linen and towels. There is a separate toilet on both floors. The quiet village of Adorf is a 10-minute walk away. There are 2 supermarkets, a bakery, a hairdresser and a few catering establishments. From the house you can walk straight into the forest and enjoy the many and beautiful, well-marked walking and cycling routes undisturbed. At 200 meters from the house you can get on the famous Diemelsteig hiking trail. A historic quarry is 1 km away. The Diemelsee is 6 km away, this large reservoir lends itself to many different water sports. Less than 20 km away is the beautiful palace of Bad Arolsen where Queen Emma used to live. The historic Hanseatic town of Korbach, known for its many half-timbered houses, is only 14 kilometres away. You can also shop extensively here and enjoy the many eateries and terraces. Cross-country skiing is already a few kilometres away at Schweinsbühl. The winter sports resort of Willingen is 18 km away, and Winterberg is also 39 km away. There are toboggan runs in both places.
