Höllenmühle

This holiday home is an original water mill from 1628. The house has been completely renovated and refurbished. The bedrooms received wonderful box-spring beds and luxurious linen and bedding. The wood stove placed in the living room gives a cozy atmosphere and cozy warmth. The kitchen is also very well equipped and the house has its own fiber optic internet connection with WiFi.

In front of the house is the mill pond that extends to the highest waterfall in Northern Germany. The holiday home has a unique terrace (50m2) where the stream and waterfall are right next to it. The south-facing terrace has a spectacular view over the stream and the low lying forest.

The mill is located in the Weserbergland and is part of the Hohenstein nature reserve. This special holiday home is an ideal starting point for hiking and visiting tourist sites along the River Weser. Golf enthusiasts can also choose from ten different golf courses within a driving distance of 15 minutes to an hour.

You will stay centrally near the Pied Piper City of Hamelin (20km), as well as the historic cities of Hessisch Oldendorf (9km), Rintelen (22km), Bückeburg (22km) and Stadthagen (20km). The beautiful natural vegetation consists mainly of wild plants, many of which are under nature protection.

You can also encounter a multitude of fauna such as various birds of prey, roe deer, wild boars and squirrels. The romantic old towns are popular options, as are the boat trips on the Weser. Obviously there are several old castles and regional museums that are worth a visit.
