Villa Mosel is a beautiful luxury holiday villa located in a quiet village overlooking the rolling landscape full of forests, fields and river valleys of the Hunsrück. The 5 star (Deutsche Toerist Verein) Villa is fully equipped including a luxury conservatory. An EV charger is available for a fee. The Villa is a 3 1/2 hour drive from Utrecht.

This Villa is also handicapped accessible.

Enjoy the tranquility of the village of Hunolstein with its ruin and the Bauernhof café (150 meters from the Villa). Ideal for de-stressing or making beautiful walking or cycling trips. The famous Klammtour walking tour starts at the Bauernhof café. A visit to the Moselle River (20 minutes drive), with its beautiful old towns is definitely worth it.

In winter, you can ski on the Erbeskopf, the highest mountain in the region, a 15-minute drive from the Villa.

Nearby is Morbach, an air spa town, 8 km from the Villa, where you can do your shopping at several supermarkets. You will also find the bakery, artisan butcher and various restaurants in Morbach.

The modern and very comfortable Villa Mosel is equipped for up to 6 people. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. In addition, the Villa has a large conservatory. The villa has a fiber optic connection for internet!
From the sauna, the conservatory, the terrace and the living room you can enjoy the beautiful garden and the landscape for which the Hunsrück is so famous. Or go for a barbecue (available) on the terrace or in the garden.

We really enjoy Villa Mosel in Morbach Hunolstein and the surroundings that are so beautiful and varied. There is also a lot to see and see in the area. The old town of Trier 35 km ), Idar Oberstein ( 30 km ) known for the gemstone polishing factories, the Moselle, the old towns on the Moselle etc etc. The Villa is completely built and furnished according to our wishes ( luxury, energy neutral,) and has all the facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The rental price of the Villa is € 165 per day as of January 1, 2026. The minimum rental period is 5 days, in the 3rd quarter and from December 15, 2026 to January 3, 2027 minimum 7 days . The rental price includes a welcome package, made beds, a towel package, free use of water/energy and internet, use of washing machine and dryer as well as WIFI, Smart TV and stereo/CD player.

Pets are allowed in the Villa if registered in advance. (extra cleaning fee per dog € 11 per day).

An EV charger is available for a fee.

The following additional costs will be charged per booking:
For the final cleaning : € 95
Pets: extra cost of final cleaning of € 11 per pet per day
For bed linen : € 65
Deposit : € 200

In principle, the deposit will be refunded to your bank account within 7 days after the departure date. We reserve the right to deduct any damages from the deposit.

You must pay a deposit of 50% of the invoice immediately after receiving the email confirming your booking request. The remainder of the invoice, including the deposit of € 200 (for which we will send you a reminder in time), must be credited to our bank account no later than 60 days before the arrival date.

Since we do not refund the rent to you in the event of cancellation, we advise you to take out cancellation insurance . We will refund any deposit already paid as well as the (already paid) costs for final cleaning and bed linen.

In the vicinity of Villa Mosel you can explore the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and the Hunsrück Hochwald National Park, located between the Saar, Rhine and Moselle rivers. Or visit Trier, the oldest city in Germany, Idar Oberstein (known for its gemstone cutting shops and gemstone museum), Bernkastel Kues, Neumagen-Drohn, Piesport or visit Burg Eltz in Wierschem, Koblenz or Luxembourg.

Walk:
The beautiful hike the Traumschleife Hunolsteiner Klammtour starts +/- 600 meters from Villa Mosel.

Restaurant:
At the end of this walk you can enjoy a delicious meal at the Bauernhofcafe Hunolsteiner Hof, which is also the start and end point of the Hunolsteiner Klammtour.
