Our holiday home, the dacha.
When we started looking, we dreamed of a cozy 'Dacha'—a nice house—where we could spend long weekends and holidays with our children and grandchildren. What we eventually found turned out to be so much more: a second home.
Our spacious, detached holiday home is located in a beautiful holiday park, just a 3.5-hour drive from home. Due to its convenient location on top of a hill, on the edge of the forest and with our own piece of land all around, we enjoy the park, the peace and privacy to the fullest.
In addition, our house is located in the middle of everything we like so much. The picturesque landscape of Germany's Knüll Mountains, ancient ruins, picturesque towns with half-timbered houses and even a beautiful golf course less than ten minutes away—it feels like we are discovering something special every time.
With four comfortable bedrooms, our house offers space for eight people (3x2 pers. and 2x1 pers.). One of the double rooms is located on the ground floor, which is not only practical, but also extra nice for guests who have difficulty walking.
In short, this place is so much more than a holiday home for us. This is where we come together, enjoy the surroundings and create valuable memories.
