In the picturesque town of Meisburg in the Vulkan-Eifel, Germany, we offer our detached holiday home Hopfi Hüsli (84m2) for rent.

Hopfi Husli is located in Unesco park volcano Eifel. Originally it is an old farmhouse from 1865 and it is located in the middle of the village opposite the church in a quiet and idyllic street. Dogs 🐶 🐶 🐶 are very welcome at In Hopfi!

Hopfi has a covered veranda (which can be closed with a gate for dogs) and an unenclosed courtyard with garden 🪴. In the courtyard it is possible to park a car or motorcycles. There is satellite TV with WiFi, bed linen, bath towels (1p.p. per stay) and kitchen linen included in the rental price. Hopfi has its own Geocach and happystones exchange house 🤭.

In Meisburg itself there is a cozy bistro🍷 🍻 and there is a hotel with a restaurant 🍽️ just outside Meisburg. From Hopfi it is a short walk down a street and you are in the middle of nature 🌲 🌳. There are several hiking trails and there is a hiking map in Hopfi Husli .

For children there is a children's playground opposite Hopfi Husli and at the end of the street there is a football field ⚽️with table tennis 🏓 and a bowling 🛝 alley. Don't forget to visit the church ⛪️, which is very beautiful. Just outside Meisburg there is also an equestrian center where you can go horseback riding. For children there is also a toboggan run, animal park, 🎡🎢 amusement park and a swimming pool🏊 ♂️ in the area. To visit, the Meerfeldermaar, Manderscheid 🏰 Castle and Abtei Himmerot are highly recommended. The Moselle is also easy to visit from Hopfi. At Christmas 🎄 and New Year's Eve, Hopfi is completely dressed up in Christmas spirit. Meisburg is a fireworks poor village and Hopfi has walls of one meter thick 😅 for a happy . 🐶 Furthermore, there are many Christmas markets to visit from Hopfi.

We, Paul and Masja enjoy the Eifel volcano every moment together with our dogs Greifa and Blanka. We want to share this experience with other people. The enclosed garden is also a great place to spend time with the dog. As real motorcycle and bicycle and hiking enthusiasts, we say come and experience it! the Eifel is really beautiful.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Electric car:
It is not allowed to charge an electric car at Hopfi, the power supply is not designed for it (fire hazard). If more than 6 kWh per day is consumed, we charge €1 per kWh. There is a charging point at the gas station around the corner.

Cancellation: We recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance.

If the tenant does not use the house for whatever reason, the following rent is due in the event of cancellation:

A. 15% of the rental price in case of cancellation more than 3 months before the start date of the rental period;
B. 50% of the rental price in case of cancellation longer than 2 months but no longer than 3 months before the start date of the rental period;
C. 70% of the rental price in case of cancellation longer than 1 month but no longer than 2 months before the start date of the rental period;
D. 90% of the rental price in case of cancellation from 1 day but no longer than 1 month before the start date of the rental period;
E. 100% of the rental price in case of cancellation on the start date of the rental period.
We charge € 55 administration costs in case of cancellation.
