Villa Olivea

Villa Olivea is located in the northern Provence, near the Mont Ventoux. It is an attractive detached holiday home with a large garden with cypresses and oleanders, located in a beautiful olive grove. The large private grounds (3000m2) around the house and the breathtaking views give you a feeling of peace and privacy. Around the house and the spacious swimming pool (9x4m) there is enough space everywhere to relax and enjoy the view. You can also play a game of jeux-de-boules on the petanque court. The house is located 1.5 km from Puymeras, a cute little village and about 5 km from Vaison la Romaine, a lively town with all amenities at hand .

About the house
This detached villa of 100 m2 is on the ground floor and offers every comfort for 6 people. The house has 3 bedrooms, all with beds of 160x200 m, of which the beds can be separated in one room. From every bedroom there is a beautiful view of the garden and surroundings. There are two modern bathrooms, there are also 2 toilets, 1 of which is separate. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, an extractor hood, a combination microwave oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. A coffee maker, both for pads and cups, and a kettle are also available. Adjacent to the kitchen is the studio, where you can relax on cooler days, with a beautiful view of the garden.
There is a flat screen TV in the spacious living room. There is direct access to the covered terrace from the kitchen and living room. In addition to a spacious dining area, guests here have access to a luxurious Weber outdoor kitchen.
The various sitting areas in the garden and around the swimming pool make it attractive and comfortable to stay everywhere.
There are several parking spaces on the spacious private grounds.
From the house you can walk straight into the surrounding vineyards for beautiful walks. From the garden you have a view of Mont Ventoux. Every evening you can enjoy a spectacular sunset.

Cycling enthusiasts can indulge themselves here with beautiful cycling routes at every level. The Mont Ventoux is of course the ultimate challenge for the more experienced sporty cyclist. There are also beautiful walks in the area. You can cool off at the various streams in the area. There are good opportunities for mountaineers in Buis-les-Baronies.

In Vaison-la-Romaine you can find many remains of the ancient Roman civilization. In the old part of the town you will find numerous cozy restaurants. The Provencal market on Tuesdays is a must. Nyons is an idyllic town with many cozy shops. This is also the heart of the cultivation of the Olives de Nyons, and here is also the museum of olive culture. A visit to Avignon, Aix en Provence, Nimes or Orange is also possible. These places can be reached with an hour's drive.

Villa Olivea is located in the middle of a famous wine region. The area around Vaison la Romaine is known for its many chateaux that produce excellent Cotes du Rhone wines. You are also in the area of the famous Olives de Nyons, the typical black olives with their distinctive taste. The oil of this olive is characterized by its special quality and is very popular with culinary gourmands. The region naturally has numerous restaurants and typical cafes. In Puymeras there is a cozy eatery “Les Barry's” and the more chic “Le Girocedre”. You will also find a bakery in the village.
