Villa Rosalys is a typical Provencal house just outside the beautiful village of Roussillon in the Luberon. Villa Rosalys is very private with beautiful views down the valley, yet only a short 10 minute walk to the village.
At garden level there is a spacious and bright villa with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and separate shower, a separate toilet and an open plan living room with dining and kitchen. Villa Rosalys is fully air-conditioned. The villa is stylishly furnished, this is our job as owners of the furniture company Villa Maison. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave, as well as a Nespresso machine. (we love our coffees too!). Both bedrooms are spacious and cozy with very comfortable beds, which is very important to us. Bedroom 1 has a Queen size bed (160x210cm), bedroom 2 has a King size bed (200x200cm) that can be converted into 2 King single beds of 100 x 200cm each.
From the living room you immediately step onto a very large terrace. Here you will find a large iron dining table with wicker chairs and various seating areas with easy chairs and parasols. An old French daybed ensures that you can stretch out on the terrace and read or take a nap. The terrace is fenced so it is very child friendly. A wide iron staircase leads to the lower part of the garden where the swimming pool and another large terrace are located. Here you will find sun beds as well as 4 comfortable wicker chairs with stools. There is also an outside shower. The view from the villa is beautiful with the valley and Mt Ventoux right in front of you.
'Our' village of Roussillon is number 6 on the list of the most beautiful villages in France, famous for its Ocre colour. In the village you will find several shops, restaurants and also a bakery, butcher, small supermarket, ice cream shop and post office. The market is on Thursday morning.
For the cyclists among you, this area is truly fantastic for beautiful tours. My husband Steve would be happy to take you to the top of Mt. Ventoux!
