House description: authentic compact gîte as main house, with a breathtaking view, located on a 90 meter high rock formation, so not suitable for families with small children (up to 9 years). Magnificent view over the valley of the Durance. The terrace is in the lee of the Mistral. At 50 meters from the main house is a large fenced private swimming pool (1.80 m deep everywhere) with terrace and double guest house. The provincial road (D973) runs through the valley. On the private fenced grounds of one and a half hectares there is a 17th century dovecote and old terraces, overgrown with shady pines and oaks with undergrowth of thyme and rosemary. It is pure nature and with absolute privacy a unique location. The house can be reached via a gate with a code and a dirt road (right of way) of about 300 meters.

The typical Provencal village of Lauris is 2 km away with 2 bakeries, pizzeria and several restaurants. On Mondays there is a market with fresh fish from Marseille. There are tennis courts in the village . A village further, in the famous village of Lourmarin, there is a market every Friday morning. The Golf Pont Royal is about half an hour away.

The master bedroom for 2 people in the main house is spacious. The guest bedroom in the main house (bunk bed with 1 person upstairs and French bed downstairs) and the bedroom for 2 people in the guest house by the pool are limited in space.
